Rescue One Air Heating & Cooling

I have been using Rescue One Air for about a year now and they are always so responsive and professional. Josh came out today and was so nice and personable. I didn’t want him to leave he had me laughing and is just such a nice guy. If you call this company ask for Josh he is great!!!

Rescue One Air was the winning bidder for the replacement of a 5-ton residential unit at our home. Reputation and presence was considered as well as price, although they had the lowest price and offered the most value. We selected them as a bidder because they were a BBB Torch ethics award winner.
Our installation was not trouble-free as contrary to what we had been led to expect the new internal roof unit would not go through the loft hatch so the installers cut a hole in our lounge ceiling. Fair enough, it is what it is, however I believe if they haft the piece they cut out behind everyone might have been better off. See later notes. Two things specifically cause my review to have 3 stars, not more:
A) We decided to buy an Ecobee wireless thermostat to enable us to manage the unit while we are traveling. I would not recommend them, frankly -- no-one knows how they work. The extremely patient young man that came out to do our punch list items has one himself and could not explain some of what it does. There is no manual. Basically I have no idea how the Tstat display some of the temperatures it does. Best I can say is to parrot a 1-star review I found online and that is, it displays an average. We have managed a work-around after spnding $85 on two additional room sensors, but I can't say we're happy with it. Steer clear of Ecobee.
B) The painters Rescue One engaged to repair the ceiling (Dominuez Bros Painters) were amateurish at best. Both times they came I had to lend them a ladder. First trip they splashed their cleaning water on our outside wall which I had to clean off after they left. Second trip they wanted to clean their brushes and tools over our landscaping -- so my wife cleaned them. We told them our paint was Dun Edwards, but they went to Home Depot. The paint doesn't match and frankly, neither does the texture. My wife won't let them into the ho\use again and I don't blame her. Had they had the original piece of drywall that was removed, in fairness their work would have been easier, but we will just engage our own painters and drywall guys now to get it right. The lesson for Rescue One is, be careful who you pick as subcontractors. Their reputation will be assigned to you.
In conclusion I should say our new A/C unit works and cools well. But a lot of unnecessary bother that should have been avoided, could have been.

Scott came over with a positive and respectful attitude. He recommended exactly what we needed and nothing more or less. He respected that I had basic knowledge of electrical and hvac systems and didn’t try to intimidate us with his professional experience. We appreciated that he was “more of a tech than a salesman”…y’all know what I mean. He was a breath of fresh air and we are glad that he represented the company today.

We woke up to our 4 ton RTU spazzing completely out and sounding like it had seen better days. We called in, explained our issue and they sent us an extremely knowledgeable and personable tradesman by the name of Hector within the hour. He alleviated our troubles within minutes and kept us informed throughout; all whilst being professional and safe. I would absolutely recommend Rescue One Air for any and all issues with your HVAC stuff; top notch top to bottom. Thanks Hector!

I’ve been using rescue one air for about 2 years now, they replaced an entire ac unit for us. Highly recommended professional company. Big shout out to Mr. Scott! He is extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to educate me on my system and answered every question I had. Thanks again

After interviewing 4 different AC companies, I had a conversation with Caleb at Rescue One. He was focused on our problem and did a great job of explaining all the options to replace our system.

The team that showed up was awesome, super professional, zero mess when they left.

Highly Recommend this company if you are looking!! Josh came out today to service our maintenance and he was kind, efficient and very helpful. He had great recommendations as to what would be the most beneficial for our home. He was great!! We purchased a new AC unit through Rescue One Air and the entire process was easy and seamless! We also purchased the maintenance plan through them and it is definitely worth it!

Alex was prompt, and very respectful. He worked on the roof unit and saw that everything was in good working order. He then came in and set the thermostat for me.
Tell Scotty that I missed him, but, that Alex was a good replacement and I will ask for him from now on.

Josh recently performed outstanding routine maintenance on my new HVAC unit, which was also installed by Rescue One 6 months ago. He was very professional and made sure everything was done right and timely. This company really works with their customers to fit within budget and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Rescue One Air to everyone.

Alex and John came for the routine spring/summer inspection of our A/C unit. Answered all our questions and concerns thoroughly and professionally. Both were quick, knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant. Since we have health issues, trust in our service from Rescue One is paramount. We can assure anyone searching for a company for A/C, heat, etc., you can't do better than this company from the telephone representatives to the service agents, like Alex and John, for confidence in a company.
