I accidently hit the WRONG button on my thermostat that turned the HEAT ON instead of the A/C, so for 5 days I didn't have A/C. The first thing Justin did was to check out my thermostat where he found I messed it up and he promptly fixed the problem. Justin then took the time to check out the A/C to make sure that it was up and running properly. I feel really bad about wasting Justin's time because of my error, but I sure appreciated Justin coming out and taking care of the problem. He was very nice and very professional.

American Home Shield assigned Iceman Cooling & Heating to fix my heater. Seth, manager, called and set up an appointment. Seth was professional over the phone. Scott is the repairman that came to my home and he presented himself well: professional, neat appearance, maintained eye contact and explained things well that needed repair. Excellent service! With AHS you never know what company you are getting, yet I was very pleased with Iceman Cooling & Heating.

The guys came and assessed an issue with our furnace (they came from our home warranty request) and determined that there were a couple issues. It required an additional trip and they were able to fix and replace the need parts and we were back to normal. Great work.

I had a very positive experience with Iceman Cooling and Heatung. The technician, Brandon, was very helpful and professional. He arrived on time, answered all of my questions and performed the necessary AC maintenance.efficiently.

When my home air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the summer, I contacted my warranty company who, in turn, assigned Iceman Cooling to repair the unit. When the technician, Carlos, first arrived, he seemed personable and quick to repair the unit. What he told me was that the A/C capacitor was no longer working and immediately installed a new one. That day, the A/C unit turned back on and was blowing cold air again. A day later, there was a noticeable leak coming from the attic causing damage to the drywall in the ceiling. I immediately contacted the company again who stated they would send a technician to diagnose. A day later, the same technician, Carlos, arrived to inspect the issue once again. At first, he stated that the primary drain was clogged and all he needed to do was unclog. After he unclogged the primary drain he said that everything was working correctly again and (for an additional $250.00 not covered by my warranty) could install a switch that would shut the unit off if it began leaking again. I declined, as I did not have the additional funds at that moment. After about 30 minutes of "wrapping up", the tech approached me and stated that the drain pan in the attic was cracked and that is actually why the water was leaking into my attic. I asked him what could have caused that, and he stated that sometimes they rust through or over time, "just wear out". However, when he submitted the request to the warranty company, he indicated that the damage was NOT due to wear and tear. As a result, the repair was declined by the warranty company. Logically, if the damage was NOT due to wear and tear, and he was the only person to have inspected the unit in the last year, then who/what could have caused the damage? Rhetorical question! There is no doubt in my mind that he caused the damage during the previous repair and was trying to deny responsibility. At that time, he turned power off to the unit, leaving my family without A/C for over 2 weeks in the middle of the Arizona summer. During that time, I contacted the office numerous times (they do not like to return calls), and only after 2 weeks, was told that the warranty company denied my claim. I then requested a second opinion from a more reputable company who was able to fix the damage that Iceman Cooling caused. This company is horrible, unresponsive, and absolutely apathetic to you as a consumer. And to add to all of this, less than a month later, I am now having the same problem that Iceman Cooling is claiming to have repaired. If your warranty company assigns this company to repair your A/C, call the warranty company immediately to request a company that knows what they are doing. With the written statement of qualified professionals, and the out of pocket amount made towards the repairs, I will be suing this sad excuse of a company. Consumer beware!!!

Tech. was on time, called me to let me know he was on his way,
inspected my air conditioner, find the problem and had the part on hand and fixed it. I was very happy as it was very hot in my house., I would use this service again.

I was honestly nervous about how my experience would be since I had seen some negative reviews from other home warranty customers, but everything went well! Iceman was communicative throughout the whole process and they honestly answered my questions better and faster than what the representatives at AHS could. My warranty ended up covering the part and I was responsible for the crane and refrigerant. I did feel that the crane and refrigerant were pricey, but I understand that it's a business. Otherwise, the service was great.

I needed my main homes AC fixed. I do have a home warrant but was willing to pay out of pocket as some work was excluded or partially covered. If it got covered that's of been great but if not I didn't care because I needed that air back on.
Their technician Chris came a few hours after the 8am to 12pm time slot. He did give me a call around noon to let me know he was running late though. Great customer service and got everything up and running no problem.
I'll definitely be using them again. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I have a feeling they were over booking their technician. He called multiple times to let me know where he was time wise though and I really appreciated that.
FYI the R 22 was running about 70.00 per pound with the warranty (which after researching is reasonable at current industry prices). They were also honest in letting me know the levels were only low and not empty.

Guy came out to fix my AC spent 20 minutes at my house said it was fixed. Checked my temp after 10 min and saw it was blowing hot, went outside and the ac isn’t even blowing. Called tech back immediately and was told I would have to be rescheduled. Been without AC for four days now and now have to wait longer. I will update this if they actually fix the issue in a timely manner but not holding my breath.

Update: As promised I am updating my post. Fernando came back to my house and fixed my issue and explained everything. He was very nice and apologetic and believe there might have been a mis understanding between us. I would like to to tell him thank you for getting my AC working.

Update Again: STAY AWAY from them. The motor they replaced twice has died again and they refuse to do anything about it and I have to go through AHS again and pay another $100 for subpar work. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Also stay away from AHS they are just as bad. I plan on reporting both companies to BBB for their work and will find a real company to come and fix my AC.
