American Home Shield assigned Iceman Cooling & Heating to come out for our pre-season checkup. We had them out over the summer to fix our AC and they did a great job; this time was no different! Scott was extremely professional, polite, friendly, and informative. He took time to explain additional questions we had and answered everything thoroughly. We'll definitely request Scott in the future for all of our heating and cooling needs!

Iceman Cooling and Heating was assigned by American Home Sheild. Brandon was friendly and professional. He was very knowledgeable as well. He explained everything he was going to check and why. He also let us know what we can do to make sure our unit lasts as long as possible. It was a pleasure working with him, and we hope to get him next year.

Iceman Heating and Cooling was assigned to us through American Home Shield. The staff at the office, and the repairmen were awesome. It took almost 2 weeks to get all of the parts needed to get both of our AC units repaired, but that was not by anyone’s fault. We were kept apprised every step of the way. Both AC units are working great. I would highly recommend Iceman Heating and Cooling for future AC and heater repairs.

The first call that was placed with this company was shocking… We were treated kind and compassionate and friendly just the best customer service we have ever had in a long time. The company called to confirm our appointment the night before showed up the day of the appointment right on time and again the customer service professionalism of the tech his name was Josh was just unbelievable. Would definitely use his company again and definitely recommend to all. Thanks again for all the great customer service.

Didn’t use the service, as they attempted to ‘up-sell’ a new system, instead of a compressor change out. Then, claimed my warranty was avoid, due to a lightning strike and needed a complete new system. Had the compressor replaced and system has been working fine. Not the kind of service, honesty, or integrity I would recommend.

Unfortunately there isn’t a zero star option. In reading the other reviews it seems I fall into the American Home Shield category, where a $75 pre-season “tune-up” is offered. I’m assuming Iceman Cooling and Heating gets a small fraction of this cost…which puts us as customers at the bottom of the barrel so to speak. As an educator it takes a lot to leave for half the day of school when given a “12-5” window of time the technician will come by. Earlier today I called in to see if they could give me any info as to when the technician would come by as I know these companies put together a schedule at the latest the day of. To my surprise I was told I was first on my technicians list! “So I need to be home right at noon then? I asked. “Well not right at noon, but you’re first.” I assumed ok maybe he will arrive by 12:15 or so. 4:12pm the technician called - of course he was running late… “I’m assuming I wasn’t the first on your list?” He responded “oh no, you weren’t” and then apologized that he doesn’t make the schedule. So this company flat out lies. I guess if you’re in a crisis and need their services and will be paying full price you are a priority? It seems like that’s the case. I’ll be following up with American Home Shield as well. So glad I missed half a day with my students to sit around and wait for a technician that didn’t even show up in the 12-5pm window.

They did what they said they would do. I worked with AHS who assigned Iceman Cooling. The first rep came on time and diagnosed the issue. Then, as with all warranty companies they had to get approval to make the repair. Two techs were assigned. They showed up when they said, were neat efficient, and polite. The work was completed in a reasonable time and the AC is working fine.

Dawn and Justin the dynamic duo that saved our day! Dawn answered the call, like the superheroine she is. Understood the problem my family and 11mo old were experiencing and to the Iceman beacon she went. Casted the signal to the sky and Justin arrived with plenty of time to spare. Was in and out of the service call much like a thief in the night. The knowledge he clear possess made his work seem effortless and I couldn’t be more grateful. The scale of this review doesn’t do them justice. So I happily add a star for their efforts. ⭐️

They did not actually repair my AC but that was the request. They were the company my American Home Shield (my home warranty company) sent out when my AC went out. That was last Friday (a day after my request) and they said it needed a part that had to be approved by AHS and ordered and would be 3-5 days before they would be back. Mind you this is when temps were 115. They found the part locally (luckily) so were able to schedule the repair for Tuesday (5 days after my initial call). That did not fix the issue so I had to call them back. Tech came later that day and found some other issues that he missed the first time. Oh and almost $1000 in Freon because he had to release it even though it was just charged the week before. Fixed those issues and said it was done and working. It was not. Called them back and they said they could not get someone out until the following day (today). Said they were sending a Sr Tech to figure out the issue. He came and said the issue is an air cleaner that was installed almost a year ago by a reputable AC company. (really?) so he disconnected the air cleaner (did not look any further for a problem) and said it is fixed but call right away if any issue. Also told me to reach out to the other company and get my money back with the warranty for the air cleaner. Well of course within less than an hour of him leaving it began to cycle on and off and blow warm air. Same issue I originally called about. I sent him a text and called the office and got voicemail so I left a message. Never heard back. Left a few more messages and sent another text to the tech. Now it is after hours and of course there is no hope of them calling me back. I am going to dispute the Freon charges since they had to release all if it and it was fully charged and I will be looking for a new home warranty company. Preferably one who have a call center in the US and an office where people will actually call you back.

More on Iceman - They never did get back to me yesterday or this morning. Luckily I got a referral from a family member for another company and the tech was here within an hour, found the issue, replaced the part and AC has been working since and it was only $210.

Iceman needs to reimburse me for the Freon charges since my AC was fully charged and they should have reclaimed it and put the same back in instead of charging me for 12 pounds (over $1000). If they did not reclaim it and released it then they are in violation.
Ironically American Home Shield sent me a text this morning asking for a review of the service. I will just copy and paste this review. Maybe they can avoid paying Iceman for the unnecessary parts they said my unit needed.
