When our HVAC unit went out three years ago in the middle of August, AHWA has been there by our side with a complete replacement of our units and wonderful service ever since. Our technician, Tim, is a total pro. Any little problem we ever have, he totally solves. We have a service plan with them and we couldn't be happier.

On time arrival, very professional and friendly, Castro explained operation of heater very well, overall terrific. Absolutely no complaints, all great! Even very professional appearance of company trucks and the two technicians. Sharp.

UPDATE: I decided to replace my two AC units through AMERICAN HOME. There was some initial confusion regarding my order, but they took full responsibility and made it right. They came out and did a beautiful job replacing my units and I could not be happier with their service.

I had noticed a unusual noise coming from the main air return (we have 2 returns). This noise could not be heard in the 2nd return and could faintly be heard in the attic where the blower was. Tim spent about 1.5 hours in our attic between 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm in Phoenix AZ. Tim heard the noise but could not localize what was causing it. He checked the motor and it’s bearings and they were fine. He also checked each blade on the fan and none were loose. He showed me a video of the fan and shaft spinning with no wobble or out of balance issues. Tim assured me the noise was not something terminal which was my biggest concern. We agreed I should monitor the issue and if no changes bring this up when they do the annual service when things cool off. After we moved in to our home we had a 2 zone cooling system put in as a single zone did not do the proper heating and cooling for both floors. We discussed our cooling challenges and possible back pressure issues with the 2 zones. Tim suggested that installing a Honeywell device to address back pressure might not resolve the noise issue but would assure that the motor would not be harmed by 2 much back pressure decreasing it’s life. The cost of Tim’s services was $80.00 the diagnosis fee which I thought was extremely reasonable and is why I use AHWA.

Now it is June 7, 23 and Trey was out for a full maintenance inspection. Trey was very knowledgeable and professional and it was a pleasure having him in our home to handle this service. We also had Evan out to give us a bid on a mini split unit to replace the window heat pump.

June 24th WATER HEATER so we were just under 6 years since AHWA installed our Bradford White 50 gal water heater. It’s a Saturday morning 6:00 am and we discovered the water heater leaking and no hot water. At 6:30 am I leave a message with the after hours answering service (real person) asking for a call. Received a call at 7:30 am, at 10:30 am we had a new water heater. Cost for water heater $0.00, warranty does not cover delivery, installation, the new parts etc, cost for this $625.00. We are happy
