Penguin Air, Plumbing & Electrical

They do not specify upfront charges when you call and set the appointment. They arrived at my home, they LOOKED at the AC, and automatically said we needed a new one, they asked if I wanted them to get their TOOLS out to look more into it but that would have been an additional $200+. They do not specify the trip to your house is almost $70. Just an FYI to everyone, if you want this company to go to your house, expect to pay more than $270 for just a diagnosis.

Hi Nathan White, was the best AC Tech we have had come out to the house! He was polite and was able to help me understand all of our options. I will 100% call Penguin Air again and it is all because of Nathan!

First experience with penguin air, service tech Mykel was on time and professional. Mykel was a great tech! Honest and open about the units and my situation. Nothing was needed at the time so can't speak to dealing with any type of repair but this was a great 1st impression and will definitely use penguin air again.

Electrical inspection was completed with recommendation of projects to bring 1979 house up to current code. Service was on time. Worker was pleasant, answered my questions and will provide report with options and costs. Nothing is required at this time. Having had this inspection makes me feel more secure.

Kevin was great. He was on time, professional, kind and most of all, he only did the work that was necessary. No additional charges or issues were raised, as you commonly get from other companies trying to run up the bill. We definitely use again.

I got three quotes for a home improvement project. This company wanted $900 dollars more than the other two. They charge you $69 dollars to come out and then give you a quote so expensive that you can’t possibly justify the expense. I think this $69 fee is a scam!

About 11am today, I realized that my A/C wasn't working, I called Penguin and within 40mins someone was at my house. The Technician was very helpful. Nate took the time walk me through my options for repairing my A/C and got the job done at a great price.

Penguin was great at initially providing an emergency repair (1 hour response) after my yard flooded and then fully diagnosed the problems and have gotten my yard back up and leak free within a week. Couldn’t be more impressed. Thanks Kevin!

Only had them come out to do a routine check on a unit that worked fine, and now our thermostat is not working, and we'll have to schedule more time to wait at home for them. Not sure what they did, but everything worked fine before. Also, they said we'd have to get a new a/c, to the ridiculous time of over $20k!

It's been over a week. Haven't received a receipt from payment. I haven't received the videos or photos Bradley took of my system for me to send to my HOA. Have received no response from text messages I have sent. Will definitely not use Penguin Air and Plumbing again since they have ghosted
