My service technician was Alex and I just came here to say thank you for such fantastic service! I don't typically write reviews but this one is warranted simply due to Alex's above and beyond service. Not only did he immediately find the problem, thoroughly explain and put genuine and sincere work into fixing it - but he also set me up with another technician after I explained how another company was trying to overcharge for another service I needed done. Both of them were completed in one day. I am happy and my family is safe again thanks to Alex and his hard work. Thank you, Alex. We are beyond grateful!

I called Penguin Air to come fix my AC. The tech was nice and polite. The main problem was with pricing. I never received a written quote. It started in the 100s and was 3000.00 by the end of it. It jumped over a 1000 from last estimate when it was time to pay. I was told that I couldn't have a printed receipt but one would be emailed. That never happened. I am very unhappy with this company. I would recommend that you check with multiple AC companies before you use this one.

I thought the tech had done a great job...until I was able to do a little research, I would have never continued had I known what I have since learned. Since I have now been able to do a little research, we were in a terrible spot and needed cooling. Everyone is now telling me that obviously in a sealed system, the Freon had to go somewhere and there must be a leak. Nathan did explain he could do a search for the leak but that would cost 4K plus and if they found a leak in the coils , it would take time to order and repair the leak. So I took the cheap route cause we needed cooling now. Why do you charge 240 dollars a pound for Freon when you can buy a 25 pound tank for 350.00 and that was from a retail store, I am sure you get it whole sale. Since I have had time to do some research, I have contacted a number of other companies and they charge 100 dollars a pound!!!!!! You signed me up for a service contract which gave me a 20 percent discount off all your bloated parts prices. I just checked pricing for the sealant/die kit you charged me 350.00 dollars for and it list price is about 35 bucks from Amazon. Now I really feel sick plus now I have been told using that can cause other serious issues like causing restrictions. NEVER AGAIN, YOU WILL NOT BE BACK IN MY HOME

We had our AC go out. Penguin sent out a technician promptly and were very quick in the process. The problem turned out to be an electrical issue as well, so they sent out one of their electricians which was super convenient. With all of the problems going on, they were fast, attentive, and very responsive! Their techs were extremely friendly, especially Bradley, and they truly cared about helping us fix our situation. If we could have Bradley back again we would - he was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and provided great customer service! We will use you guys again.

Our AC died on Saturday at 7:00pm. On the hottest day of the year so far. Called Penguin and they were at my house within an hour! Our AC is 20 years old and we knew we were on borrowed time. The needed repair was going to be over $2000. The technician, Elmer suggested a few options and explained each one without being pushy. One of the choices was to install a new AC system. We went over unit options and prices and they were able to get it in our price range! Two days later, we now have a beautiful AC unit!! They were efficient and professional and friendly. We will recommend Penguin to all our friends and family!!!

My experience with penguin air was very good. The technician was aware that I had been in construction and understood Plumbing situations. I felt as if he was very knowledgeable and very honest. He went right to work cleared my drain. He was on time. Had another tech with a camera in the neighborhood so he called him and I got a complimentary look down my drains. I had originally wanted to get the pipes jetted but he informed me that they may harm my old pipes. When we look down with the camera he was exactly right. The cost was half of what anyone else was charging and there was no service fee. At this point after 22 years in this home and several different plumbers I will never call anyone again but penguin air and I suggest if you have Plumbing issues that you call them also. I highly recommend the penguin air.

Technician was great and able to save me from a $2,000 repair. Only thing I wish was to have the technician come out and inspect unit first before I signed up with ally for a loan but luckily he was able to find the issue being a bad capacitor vs a bad motor. Also, it was 10pm at night so I'm thankful he saved my house from a hot Phoenix night and the loan stuff I'll take care of with their billing department.

No Show, no call, not once, but twice!! Failed to have my service call added to you calendar, then said they would comp the service call for the trouble and be out the next morning.
Third times a charm. You showed up, but, the technician started working on my home roof unit without telling me he was here. The work order was for a mini split in a garage.
There was nothing wrong with my roof unit (other than age). I was clear they were repairing a mini split in my workshop/garage.
The technician seemed grumpy at that point since he had to put the unit back together then look at the mini split which he seemed reluctant to do.
He ran a test and said it was out of Freon, the unit has a leak and the whole unit needs to be replaced. He said Freon would cost $600-700. I repeated back to him $600-700, he said yes!
I asked if any repairs could be made he said not really, it probably leaking in the wall unit and they rust out, then they need to be replaced. So he emailed me an estimate for a new unit which was also outrageous. Then still tried to charge me the service call. He did not seem happy to be here, nor was he knowledgeable in this case. The leak was literally right there in front of him.
Well guess what. Another company came out today. Charged the unit and found the leak at the outside unit. One of the line fittings just needs to be replaced. Inexpensive item. Now blowing ice cold. Pays to call around and get a second opinion.
Don’t waste your time with Penguin.
