Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation

These guys really knew what they were doing and took their time making sure everything was measured and calculated correctly before pricing and installing. I’ve recommended them to a family member and a neighbor and they did the same for them. I see why they are so highly rated.

It seems I had the opposite experience of most here. I had an appointment for 10-12pm on Tuesday, the tech was behind and didn't arrive until 12:45pm.

After signing on for the work, I was told I would be contacted to schedule the repair (not same day), and would be charged 50% as a deposit. Instead, they charged the full amount and instead of scheduling the repair, the tech called on his way, disrupting my plans for the day. Day 2 when they came to do the repair, new issues were discovered that doubled the cost of the repair.

I was referred this company by a close friend, and comparing notes we could not have had more different experiences working with the company. My experience leaves me unlikely to recommend the company, and even though I selected a maintenance plan, I'm not sure I would have them back out to our house.

I provided this feedback to the tech, and would have preferred not leaving a comment on Google, but this is where their email sent me when soliciting feedback.

Ideal energy is truly the best. Every time a technician has come out, they have been so knowledgeable and compassionate over the last 10 years. They also schedule appointments so quickly and troubleshoot over the phone on a weekend free of charge. I will always be a loyal customer to Ideal. Thank you!

I had my old duct work removed and replaced. The work was excellent. The crew was efficient, professional and very pleasant I would recommend them to my friends and family. I don't normally give 5 stars but I would give this business 6 if possible .

Ideal updated my 40 year old duct system and installed new attic insulation. They completely overhauled how my AC operates. Their crew was professional from start to completion, from phone calls to initial inspections to getting the work done. Fantastic job, great company!

I feel that I was sold a HVAC system that cost me nearly $20,000 that needs to be replaced in less than 6 months as the A/C unit is extremely loud with indoor temperature extremely uncomfortable. I cannot sleep because the system runs 24/7 with an extremely loud squelching/humming noise. Otherwise, I have shut it off and use space heaters in the winter and a portable a/c in the summer.

There is no way to make the indoor temperature comfortable at any time.

I told the salesperson that I was replacing the unit primarily due to the noise of the old replaced unit. Why does he sell me a unit that is worse???

At least my old unit wasn’t loud in the winter when the furnace was being used. At least my old unit had real indoor comfortable temperature settings.

This system is a piece of junk!!!
