Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation

Ryan, Alex and Christian. Thank you for helping me with the challenge of cooling down this 1947 home! I went with the recommended and guaranteed comfort; full engineered redesign ductwork and insulation. It was by no means cheap however in this case I definitely got what I paid for. Look at how they protected my personal belongings. I was utterly impressed. More importantly my home is now evenly 72 degrees when I want it to be! Prior to the ductwork being replaced by Ideal Air my master bedroom would be 83+ in the summertime. Guest bedroom would be 72 and laundry room 90+ (no ventilation). I would receive an alert from my thermostat daily, “Something is wrong. The HVAC is calling for cooling and the temperature of your home has increased 4+ degrees. If you have an older home, and your just as uncomfortable in the summertime as I was, call Ideal Air. They will guarantee your comfort! Recommend 100% Cristian (installer) was extremely professional and communicative. Although expensive, well worth it.

Chris and Keaton are aces in my book. Your company was highly recommended by Encanterra neighbors. The Mitsubishi product endorsement agrees my findings on line. The aforementioned technicians deserve solid 5s for their skills, efficiency and customer satisfaction professionalism.

I don’t think anyone looks forward to having to replace their AC unit in the middle of the Phoenix summer. I talked to 5 other companies before Ryan came over to take a look at my house and needs. Needless to say, the job that he did surpassed everyone else. Ryan was extremely professional and genuine. He was also very thorough looking at my house as a system (including windows, insulation of walls and attic, etc), modeling my house, measuring static pressure of the system, and showing me how he worked out the load calculation to assess the best replacement for my central unit. Having a background in engineering, I really appreciated the process. The other advisers/consultants that came to my house went off my current unit for size, the sqft of my house and height of ceilings, or a ballpark from their past experience. It was clear that it’s important for Ryan and Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation to take the time to get the best option for their customers. Other companies also only showed me 1 or 2 options. Ryan showed me 3 to start and then showed me others he had left out based on my needs and price point. He explained the difference in systems, and by the end, I was left pretty confident in the choice I had made. I never felt rushed to make a decision or felt like I was in that typical/awkward/pressured sales situation. Thank you for your help, Ryan! I’m really happy with my choice and have already recommended Ideal to my friends and family. Looking forward to getting my new unit installed.

I can't say enough good things about this company. I am very happy and pleased with their service, knowledge, professionalism, quality and care. From the moment Matthew, who diagnosed our AC, came over the whole team at Ideal has been responsive, helpful and patient with us. Ryan, the comfort advisor, was great to talk with and go over the manual load calculation with me to right size our new AC so we get the right equipment for our house.

Ideal was able to quickly respond to our emergency need and did all that was possible on their side to get us an AC since ours had stopped working.

Cristian, our AC installer, was super communicative, understanding and knowledgeable. I asked him many questions and he was always polite, accommodating and helpful. Cristian and his team did a quality job and when they were done with the install, even though they covered all the work area, they cleaned afterwards and left it even cleaner than what it was.

Alex was a very informative, helpful, and approachable professional. He helped to clean the filters of the ERV system and identified an error in the installation that would prevent fresh air intake. He also arrived during the estimated time range. I highly recommend working with Ideal Air.

Our house has been plagued by bad air flow. We hired Ideal to engineer our duct work. After the installation I am definitely noticing an improvement. The house has much better air flow, and I am definitely impressed.

You will also not believe how meticulous the company is. Their preparations on the work site were top notch. They covered everything in plastic, people wore booties, and when the job was done they cleaned everything up. Christian did an excellent job leading our project.

Thanks goes out to Alex the co-owner (engineer). Ryan who helped reign in our project, and make it happen. The installers Christian, Zack, and Keaton. Really appreciate you guys climbing around our attic for a few days, and fixing our terrible duct work.

Alex and Matt are absolutely amazing. I was in a real pickle, just as the weather started turning hot. The AC went out. They were out at the house and had everything up and running in just over an hour. If there were three thumbs up I’d give it to them I am also a a small business owner therefore when I can find a company who is honest, and has integrity they will be my go to every time!!

My unit stopped blowing cold air and they promptly sent Matthew over to diagnose and fix the problem. Before arrival they sent a little dating profile-like bio of his interests and experience, which gave me a chuckle but it was genuinely nice to get an idea of who the tech was and their experience level. He showed me numerous pictures of the tests and readings he took and answered my questions articulately. I needed to get my compressor motor replaced and there were some other wires and components needing work. The replacement motor was a high efficiency model and it is amazing the difference it made. My unit is 13 years old and I’ve lived here for six years and I keep the house at 74, but in the hot summer months in the past it would only get down to about 77-78. I assumed this was normal since my windows aren’t very efficient and the unit otherwise worked fine year round, but with the new motor it stays at 74. Crazy difference and glad I contacted them. Highly recommended.

After contacting up to 8 other companies, I was so happy to have found this one. Alex & team reworked our ducts in a 1926 house to be more efficient. He laid out 3 clear options and scope for the work & was the perfect contractor. It's been a yr now, and we notice the difference in our comfort & bills. Highly recommend this company. Top notch.

They professionally engineered the size mini split we would need for our garage, and that saved us money over other dealers. They then arrived on time, installed the unit (using drop cloths to protect our items) and cleaned up after themselves. The unit works great!
