Al and his crew at Diamond were exceptional. They came same day on a Thursday after hours to figure out what went wrong with my ac and by Saturday morning they were here putting in a new unit. I highly recommend.

Troy and Mike came out to assess our unit and found multiple issues that needed to be addressed. They were both professional, personable and great to work with. Very happy to be part of the Diamond AC family!

I am very unhappy about my experience. I had an inspection done on my homes ac unit. The person looking at it was Bryan, went up and looked at the unit and when he came back down to give me the details he proceeded to tell me that “it will soon be raining in your house, I can’t tell you when, but soon it will.” I suffer with major anxiety, I couldn’t help but to brake down and cried. I am a mother with 3 kids, we all have major allergies and asthma. We have one income, we are also a low income family and can’t afford the maintenance and nor can we purchase a new ac unit. We just had to file bankruptcy to keep us above water. He had me apply for two different recourses to get a new ac unit and knowing this before applying- I was denied. I asked him what else I can apply for or if they help low income families, Bryan said I can check with the owner, he may be able to help. After he left, a few days went by and I decided to call them back. I spoke to a nice lady on the phone. I told her my concerns, what was told to me and explained my families situation. She expressed that she would see what she can do to help me and my family. I have not heard anything back and now my ac went out. I have tried everything I can, to find help with replacing my ac and still nothing. Thank goodness it cold out and my heater still works but I was left vulnerable and helpless with this situation, especially since it has yet to be resolved. I feel as a customer I was set up and lied to. The person who did the inspection should also learn more about giving info than scaring families, who are low income, just to make a sale.

When my 20 yr unit was not stops working intermittently I called on one company and they said it cannot be fixed and need to replace with a new one and gave me an unbelievable quote for new system.
For a second opinion I contacted Diamond AC . They were very professional. Instead of being sales oriented they gave priority to fix the issue so that i can survive in this hot weather. Thanks to Aaron and Antony.
Strongly recommend Diamond AC !!

5 stars use this company!!! I have used many companies through out the years and finally found a company I can trust! My air went out and Dave was sent to my home early for appointment time, he was very courteous and educated me on my system! Dave explained and pointed out the problem to me. Service was completed in the same day and I saved a bunch of money!!! Thanks for the cold air guys!!!!

I got their name from Angies List since my husband and I are looking to put in a new A/C unit. Step up an appointment for a Monday morning from 8 to 10 am. I got a call Sunday night from Anissa or Alyssa? which she left a message to confirm my appointment with them for Monday morning. I called the number back and no one picked up so I left a message that I would be at home for that appointment. Well, no one showed up or called. I called the main number and let the gentleman that answered know that no one showed and I didn’t want them at my home. Why call me the day before to confirm and never show up. Someone dropped the ball at that business and lost them thousands of dollars since I know what a new unit on my house is going to cost.

Summary: Pushy and unprofessional sales from tech coupled with questionable pricing makes this a "do not recommend" for me.

Details:
I was nagged quite often with phone calls to sign up for a $20 system checkup. After much deliberation I decided my 15 year old system could use the attention. Scheduling was easy but man they do love their phone calls. I would have much rather preferred an email or text instead of repeat calls every few hours but it is hardly why I felt the need for a 1 star review.

The tech arrived on time which is great but was not wearing any face cover nor did he offer to wear one. With the current state of covid19, it should have been a given when entering a customer's home.

We went through the outside unit and I immediately was put on edge from his assessment. While he was polite and clearly explained the concerns he observed he was very pushy about making a sale. On top of that the pricing for parts and services was not only wildly inconsistent but also misleading. I was quoted $1000+ for replacing a few parts, cleaning, and some insulation. I was also told this was only cost of parts and labor was going to be free because he wanted to give me a deal and the cleaning and insulation were freebies.

I hesitated and asked for a formal quote and some time. Suddenly the 1000 became 600 if i committed to it "right now". I inquired about more detail on the parts to be replaced only to discover that the "$150 conductor with free labor" was $20 on Amazon along with the optional hard start capacitors were $40 rather than the ~$200 with free installation that he was pushing. Sure quality varies but nonetheless a 7x markup and claiming that it was 100% attributed to material cost rather than labor is shady as hell. I would have been willing to consider the labor of a licensed tech if i felt he wasn't trying to rip me off.

At that point I decided that I was still interested in finishing the checkup since I paid for it but did not trust anything the tech would say due to this attempted money grab unless I could see the same concern that is raised.

Once he realized i was most likely not going for it he was ready to leave and skip the air handler inspection. I asked him to look at the units in my attic and he very reluctantly agreed to do so.

We found that the pans were dirty and potentially slightly clogged and he suggested a method to clean them while also dropping remarks like "see im teaching you something so you should pay me" and "see im saving you money by showing this to you so you should have me do the quoted work I mentioned."

This pushy sales and attempt to guilt trip me is not okay and only reaffirmed my conviction to not have him do anything on top of the agreed upon inspection. But it actually gets worse!

When he writes up the quote he informs me that "my boss will not let me drive an hour out here without making a sale so YOU will have to talk to him and explain why i am walking away empty handed." How unprofessional and incompetent can you be to put a customer on the spot with your supervisor because you failed to articulate why I was not interested in the $1000->$600->$300 service? I explained that I was interested in doing the work myself when I discovered that the allegedly $600 in parts was actually $120. I get it that labor is not cheap....especially licensed labor but to pretend that labor is "free" and the parts are hundreds more than the actual cost is a shady business practice.

If the tech was straightforward on the cost of materials and labor it would entail than i would have considered it for the reassurance of having a licensed tech perform the work. But due to the way he handled the situation, dishonest pricing, pushy sales, attempted guilt trip, and getting me to speak to his supervisor I declined any additional services without hesitation. I didnt explicitly want to do the work myself but I sure as hell wasn't giving him any commission after that performance.

Aaron came out to Coolidge from PHX to do a $29 check-up on my 15 year old system. He checked all parameters on the system and educated me on the 5-2-1 compressor saver system system and sold me on it. He had it installed in a matter of minutes and indicated that it should save some serious money on electricity based on how many amps the unit draws because of it's age. Very professional and enjoyable to talk to. Looking forward to seeing my system continue to operate for hopefully several more years!

Richard was excellent to work with. He took great pictures to show me where my problem areas were before starting work. My A/C unit needed cleaning and minor maintenance which he took care of quickly, then brought down pictures of what he had done. Looking forward to working with you again!
