Had one of the most amazing experiences with this company. First of all they were the only A/C company open on Easter Sunday available to assist me. They had one of the most beautiful showrooms Ive ever seen, and had some of the best customer service I've ever received from Matthew, he got me the right part i needed and gave me some important Technical info on the installation. Could not have got it fixed the same day without you. Thank you so much Matthew. Would recommend this company any day!

Our AC/Heat Pump got to the point of sounding like a commercial jet airplane taking off every time it started up so we finally replaced it. My wife and I are both the types that do a lot of research, and after A Lot Of Research we settled on Hendel's to put in our new system. We can not be happier both with the result and the process of working with them.

Bob Yee is the nicest "no hype" informative person we met in our search for a replacement and is a big reason we went with Hendel's. Bob listened to understand our concerns and was detailed in his inspection of the physical aspects of installing the new air handler to make sure there would be no problems when it got installed. We chose a mid range efficiency American Standard system. The installation went very smooth and took no time at all compared to what we expected.

We have already recommended Hendel's to a couple other folks and certainly recommend them to you. We're enjoying how much quieter the new system is (and our next door neighbor is much happier as well).

What a treasure to find after a night with no A/C! Our capacitor went bad and we were certain we would have to call someone for such a simple fix, but after a quick Google search, I found that they not only were going to be open the next day, a holiday (the 4th of July), but they were also willing to sell capacitors to the public, which is rare (we could have ordered online, but it would not have arrived for 5 days, which was out of the question). When we arrived the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The woman assisting us was quick to get us the capacitor and was also quick to get us on our way. The price was also extremely reasonable for quick access and convenience to what we needed to get cool air. I highly recommend Hendel's Air Conditioning and we would gladly be customers in the future! We will be sure to recommend them to any friends or family in need of A/C parts or repairs.

I had Hendel’s come out and do a tune up on my two units last week and they did a great job. My wife was the one that was home and she said that their Technician was very professional and that he explained everything very well. I’m now confident that my AC units are ready for the summer. The capacitor in my A/C unit threw in the towel on a Saturday at 6 PM. Not only was Hendel's the only ones open but the were super helpful and had what I needed. Hands down the best service I have had in a long time! P.S. they have an awesome antique collection in their showroom!

Don’t buy their American Standard product. I’m 5 years deep with a system that was over $15k. They’ve needed to come fix something on it 3 times already. American Standard stands by their parts at least. But, Hendel’s doesn’t stand behind the product they sell. Buyer beware. Parts are free labor and service calls are not. Perhaps there is a reason they sell products that fail?

Staff all seems friendly and knowledgeable.

Meanwhile, no AC for half the house for the next couple of days until they can go get the part.

**UPDATE** Hendel's has fixed the unit and it is running again. Charge for the fix was $1.6k. This does not include the parts that American Standard covered under warranty. Be aware, this amounted to $250/hour labor. Within 2 hours of service, management has threatened to place a lien on my home. Perhaps because I questioned how the labor could be that much when average pay for an HVAC tech is $20/hour...... As I mentioned before, perhaps there is a reason they are selling products that do not last. Buyer Beware.

**UPDATE 2**
In an age of misinformation, Ms. Hendel seems to be following suit. First, her technician was here on a Saturday, not a Sunday. Next, she implies I refused to sign or pay for service. That is also light on truth. Her technician demanded my wife pay, then when I spoke with him and asked why the labor fee was $752 for a job that was completed in 3 hours I was told I needed to speak with the office. He then left without asking for any signatures. Now, I'm not as well versed as Ms Hendel in pay rates for HVAC techs, but a simple Google search came up with the average rate that I listed. Finally, my unrealistic demand. To have AC units that last more than 5 years without significant repairs when spending $15k. Both of the units Hendel's sold us have failed. One in a matter of months, this one in less than 5 years. I don't expect to be gouged on labor when the parts are covered under warranty.

As for her experienced technicians - The first unit failed within a few months because it was installed with the wrong settings. It required showing up to Hendel's in person to get them to right that mistake. I could go deeper into this experience, but it's not worth anyone's time. The problem this time was initially misdiagnosed as being a $60 repair. When I agreed to that repair, 30 minutes later it was going to be costing me over $1k.

Notice in her response, she attacked me but did not defend the product or service they offer. I think that says all you need to know about Hendel's. Living off a reputation that appears to be only history.

Thankful for this place. My condenser fan crapped out yesterday (Sunday) and had to call off work today to get it fixed. Thankfully not were they only open, Columbus Day, but are open to the public to buy parts. Everywhere else will only sell to contractors. Friendly, inviting staff, and reasonable pricing. Thank you again as I sit in my once again cooled off house. Will definitely use in the future.

When it came time to buy a new air conditioner, I called a few of the companies I see on TV all the time. I felt like I was being fast-talked… like they were trying to “up-sell” me to recoup their advertising budget. Then a friend told me about family-owned and operated Hendel’s Air Conditioning. From the time I walked in to their amazing showroom to the time their installers finished the job I knew I had made the right choice: starting with a knowledgeable Sales representative who made sure I purchased a unit with the proper tonnage and the right price for our budget. Their professional installers were prompt, courteous, efficient and respectful. When the job was done they left our home clean… and cool! I called my friend that suggested Hendel’s to thank him. Now, I’m passing the favor on to you. Call Hendel’s. You’ll be so glad you did.

They were professional, prompt and help me out a lot. I have a 2 week old baby and while everybody else told me they couldn't come they came within an hour and fixed it AC unit. So grateful for them.
