My AC went out on a Sunday. I needed an odd capacitor that wasn't readily available at the usual suspects (Home Depot, Lowes, etc). I checked Amazon and the earliest I could have one delivered was 3 days (no prime availability). With a baby at home this was no bueno. I found Hendel's (I had never heard of them before). Not only were they open but they had the part I needed as well.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The woman who sold me the part said she was the owner's daughter. She even opened the cap and tested it in front of me before it was rung up.

The part was a little overpriced (about $15 more than listed by others on the net) but no biggie. The other guys weren't open anyway.

It's been a long time since I've experienced service as good as this, and it was at 4:15pm on a Sunday!

Tech was very professional and VERY thorough in the repair and cleaning of my heat pump. He explained what was wrong, had pictures, and was very open on what was being done.
It is now running like new.

Excellent!! 10 years on our American standard unit, yearly maintenance done and occasional coil cleaning. Never an issue & techs always professional. Highly recommend!

The tech did a good job.
However, there are some things you should know before you do business with Hendel's. First, Hendel's now adds a 3% surcharge if you pay by credit card. Fortunately, we had $1,000 dollars in the bank and could write a check.

The second thing you should know is that replacing a fan motor and adding 1 pound of refrigerant will cost you close to a $1,000.

Here is a break-down of Hendel's invoice:
- Trip and Diagnostic Charge - $129
- Condenser fan motor (Century) - $609.54
- Service Labor - $100
- Refrigerant R- 410 - $79.89
For at total of $918.41

The Century 1/3 to 1/8 HP Condenser Fan Motor, 825 RPM , is available on the internet for $161.

Hendel's is a lifesaver! They were able to get me the parts I needed to fix my AC in no time! All the other parts houses in the area wouldnt sell to someone who wasnt a contractor, but Hendel's was happy to have my business. Highly recommend

Just had our a/c upgraded today. They made it so painless. They arrived on time, worked extremely fast and cleanup was a breeze. They also explained how to use our new a/c. I would like to add we have been customers with them for 16 years and this is our second unit. Highly recommend!They will take great care of you!

They came out to do work on my business and replaced a fuse (after showing up over an hour after their "window" since the scheduler allegedly didn't put us on the schedule), which fixed the issue, but insisted I would need a new compressor or new 5 Ton unit altogether. I asked a client of mine that owns a commercial HVAC company to give me a second opinion and after extensive tests he assured me the unit was fine and did not need a new compressor. Trust is huge in business, and it has been broken in this case. I will not use them again nor recommend them.

Hendel's recently installed an American Standard 4 ton two-stage Heat Pump in my residence. The quality of the equipment and controls are excellent, the installation was top notch and very professional. I would recommend Hendel's / American Standard to any and all needing a replacement Air Conditioning system.

I called Hendel's when my air stopped working. The lady who answered the phone was extremely helpful and professional. She got a technician out to my home that day. He was knowledgeable about the issue I had and explained things in detail. I agreed to let him do the repair he suggested. My unit was back up and running within the hour. It was fairly priced, and i felt like he had my interest first rather than selling me unauthorized parts. I will be recommenin Hendel's to everyone I know! Tthanks Hendel's! !!!
