Kirk did a great job, doing an annual inspection and cleaning of my water heater and forced air furnace filling me in along the way with the components he was evaluating, adjusting and cleaning. Friendly, efficient and great on phone and in person. Thanks Kirk!

I have no complaints about the service I received. Scheduling and communication were great. Although he was not able to find the problem, Kirk was very personable, knowledgeable and honest. He was able to help rule out severe water damage. He did as much as he could and explained everything in a way that I could understand. Thank you so much, Sir. If I have future issues, I feel comfortable calling Discount Mechanical again.

Peter came on time as stated in his phone message to quickly resolve our heating system issue that occurred early this Saturday morning.

We smelled natural gas in our mechanical room, hurried to turn off the gas, and called right away. They sent out a repair man two days later. He was super curious, prompt, and knowledgeable. Not to mention very friendly. He found the issue quickly and fixed it on the spot. So thankful for the great service and prompt attention!

I didn't know the dial turn left or right to turn up/down heat used a battery for thermostat sensing to give off proper heat if needed. The Repair Worker told us our thermostat dial requires a battery. If battery goes out our thermostat wouldn't work. So he inserted a new thermostat that didn't require a battery to sense heat activity if heat needed. He was very nice & well educated in his area of work. I would definitely recommend his services.

Heater went out over the weekend, their on call staff let us know they would call back on Monday to book an appointment, called back as promised made an appointment for Wednesday. Jim (did a fantastic job) came out to our house promptly diagnosed the problem heat is working flawlessly again. If you have ever tried to get anyone to quickly come out to your home and make repairs in Anchorage? You know how hard it can be to get anyone to do anything. These guys will be our go to for any and all HVAC needs in the future, thank you Discount Mechanical and thank you Jim 👍

Kirk stopped by my home to do an initial inspection and give me a rundown of how my my heating system worked. He was professional and explained things simply and clearly. I am glad to become a member of their service subscription.

They had to come back 2 times first time they said the back house had no electric had to tell them to push the button on the socket in the room. Then they stated they don't do drywall repair I said OK I can find someone to do it and they don't do electric but they have someone they work with. The electrician never called or showed for the job. I called a separate electrician to do job. That electrician stated there is a significant whole that needs repair and the closing flap for exhaust is missing for outside exhaust from a fan out of the box?? The poor tenant did not know any better thought it was just going to be repaired so she never sent me pictures (now I know better thought she would have said something). I called DM all they had to say was it is on our invoice we don't do drywall and your on recording that the tech told you it was a square fan that I provided going into round whole. Maybe that would be the time to say it's just not a little repair maybe you should get a different fan. Not try to be mean but driving cross country talking to this guy who had such a thick accent I could barely understand him. My experience with contractors they are suppose to suggest. I will never use them again for them and electrician over $800 and now I have to pay someone $650 to fix it properly.

Our furnace stopped working on a cold Sunday morning, and Discount Mechanical Heating and Plumbing was able to send a technician within a few hours. Brian quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. We are toasty warm and grateful for the availability and expertise. Highly recommended.
