Woke up on a 10° Sunday morning to a cold house and a broken boiler! Kirk showed up within an hour and quickly solved my issue AND had the right parts to fix my old boiler. Kirk is incredibly competent and friendly. He showed us how the system works, walked through the repair with us, and now my house is warm and I am much more informed on the workings of my boiler. Kirk Panzer came out to my home twice on Christmas to fix my furnace issue. He had no problem getting it back up and running when I thought I’d have to go without heat. Thanks Kirk! And thanks for working holidays!

There was a cancellation, so we were seen quicker than expected.

Kirk came along, diagnosed and called around town for parts, but the furnace was built in 1982! No luck.

Kirk turned around and did a estimate. I was only charged for the call no further charges until we install a new furnace soon. The original did it's job for 40 years. I'm sure the estimate and replacement will be reasonable compared to my first estimate from another company in town. Thank you!

Easily made appointment and paid in advance the $89 dispatch fee, they showed when they said they would and I was given a 30 minute out call. Repairman said the water pump was out and recommended a new auto fill valve. Estimate was:
$425 for part and to replace pump
$175 fee for drain and fill of the system
$123 for auto fill and new isolation valve
Totaling $723. I thought this seemed like a lot but I did not know how much parts were.

The next day I sourced the parts locally and they were $172. Called Reggie at Discount to talk about the charge. Said he would call back when he figured something out. No call so far. I have talked to two other local businesses who both state this was about $200 over what it should have been.

I did not mention to the other two companies who did the work but they both asked if Discount Mechanical H&P had done the work.

Quality of work done was good but just way over-priced in my view.

Dwight really saved the day! He was friendly professional and really knows how to get the job done in a quick matter. Highly recommend.
