Diamond Heating & AirTemp Alaska

Diamond Heating was the most professional and responsive company when my furnace went out. They didn’t charge me for a quote like the other companies and we the least expensive. I’ve already been recommending them to my friends and family.

I am a renter and this is the second time Diamond Heating has come out to service the residence that I’m renting. I’m very pleased I now have heat. The cause of the problem was evaluated, addressed and care was taken to ensure there were no other failing factors with in the equation.

This is the second time Tom came to help me out. He is always on time or early, professional, very informed and takes the time to give me much needed information. I was so impressed I signed up for their monthly service! Very happy with and highly recommended!

The initial visit was done and I was sure I couldn't afford the fireplace insert but the very friendly and professional technician told me about their financing options and sent me estimates for each item individually so I could decide. The technicians that did the installs were also very friendly and professional.
They did an amazing job, they were on time, communicative and showed me how to start the fire in the event of a power outage, showed me how to adjust my water heater and even showed me how to access the filter on my furnace which was above and beyond since they weren't doing any work on the furnace but understood how difficult it was for me to remove the cover and they made sure I'm able to change that filter.
And the lady that handles their financing options is AMAZING!!!!! Such a wonderful experience all the way around!!!!!
I will call Diamond Heating and Cooling for any service they provide that I may need in the future!

After calling multiple companies around town and not being able to get my furnace looked at I called Dimond Heating & AirTemp Alaska. When calling Dimond Heating I was in the worst situation. My heat would not come on for a total of three days in the mist of December in Alaska let alone in the middle of a snow storm. I spoke with Angela who was so kind and empathetic toward my situation and was able to get me on the waiting list. Within just a few hours Tom came by to take a look at the issue. I can honestly say I don't know what I would do without them. Tom was very knowledgeable and truly such a blessing. He went above and beyond trying to help my family and I couldn't be more grateful. He was able to get my furnace up and running within just about 15 mins. Thank you so much for all that you guys do! They really made a miracle come true or as some would say they pulled the rabbit out of the hat on this one.

The install team: Andrew, Brandon and Brad were professional, clean and efficient. Answered questions and explained what they were doing each step of the way. I really appreciated the work they did on this install of this wall mounted furnace and new thermostat. Thank you so much guys!!!

My water heater finally bit the bullet and we had been out of hot water for over a week. During the winter especially, and having a toddler, it is not a good situation! I work nights and tried calling some 24/7 places. No return calls or their inbox was full. Called Alkota, and they said a technician would call me back. Never did, (going off the reviews, it is probably a good thing ;) ). I looked at reviews and saw Diamond Heating. Gave them a call as soon as they were open. Instantly answered. Told them my situation and they sounded empathetic. Said they could have someone check out the situation the next day. I get a call from Sam, super friendly, highly energetic, and just and all around good guy. He gave me a heads up 15 minutes prior before coming over. Checked out my crawl space and took some photos. Said because our situation is more emergent, they could possibly fix it by the end of the week. Even came back the next day to double check measurements to make sure there would be no issues. Fast forward 1 day later, Andrew came over with someone else (didn't catch their name), and installed the water heater.

From start to finish, Diamond Heating came, saw, and kicked butt. Literally called several other places and they couldn't be bothered. I really look forward to a hot shower!

The only thing I docked them for, star wise, is the pricing. Doing some internet research, it said on the higher end, $3,500 should be the expected cost. When I got my quote, it was listed at just over $4,100. The listing had everything itemized, but there was no cost associated with the listings, so I couldn't determine what all costed that total.

Now honestly, with it being really cold in town, not having hot water, and them actually being there when needed (plus installing in a small crawl space sucks), I'll take the hit. Just something to know.

That being said, I would still highly recommend them. I will continue doing business with them in the future. Sorry for the long review, it has just been a big trouble for my family for the past week and having this kind of response just makes my month!
