This company responded quickly when one of our 3 fifteen year old HVAC units went out 3 days before our wedding in October. It was the unit for the bonus room, where my mother was going to stay, and we decided to replace it. The crew came the next morning and stayed until the unit was replaced and working properly. There weeks ago, another unit, which we have had many issues with went out, so we decided to go ahead and replace the other two. They were back in 2 days to do the work. They replaced them both in a day, and we've been very happy. The workmanship was excellent, everyone was friendly and professional, they were very clear about warranty procedures, and even helped us get financed with Alabama Power. Would definitely recommend!

I was able to get a same-day appointment to access the issue with my 27 year old York Furnace. Darius, our Technician, arrived at the earlier part of the time window after calling me. Darius was courteous and knowledgable in regards to explaining fully our repair/replacement options so that I could make an informed decision. He was able to successfully repair our furnace in a timely manner. I highly recommend using this company for all of your heating/cooling needs.

I do not recommend Myers Comfort Specialist of Birmingham to anyone. I had an A/C issue on my property. Myers is the vendor my warranty company (American Home Shield) utilized for our repair request. They were not available for a week. When they arrived, they 'fixed' the issue for it to break within a few hours. When communicated repair was not completed, we had to wait an additional week for another appointment. After paying $700 out of pocket to replace the compressor, the A/C wasn't working in less than 24 hours. When being told we would have to wait another week, we requested a vendor who would make it a priority. We were then told the BRAND NEW COMPRESSOR was fried and Myers had to come complete the repair. At this time, the wait would be approximately 10 days before they would be able to 'squeeze' us into their schedule. Did I mention the temperature was in the mid 80s in the home? THIS IS ABSURD!!! The temperature in our area would reach the high 90s in the coming days. We ended up having to find an amazing vendor, NOT MYERS, who were very gracious to assist and made us a priority. Given the neglectful work of Myers, we ended up having to replace the entire unit. I wish this was my first/only experience with this VERY subpar vendor; unfortunately this was not! Myers will not stand by their work, will not make you a priority even after multiple failed attempts to correct, and does not care about their customers, which is obvious due to their unwillingness to expedite corrections during uninhabitable conditions. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We had to use Myers through American Home Shield for our AC repair. They were initially responsive. We made the call after hours on Friday. They had a technician at our house on Sunday morning. They replaced the motor, but the original fan blade would not transfer to the new motor. I was told it would be Tuesday (Monday was a holiday) before they could get the part back out here. It being a holiday weekend, I understand it cannot be done sooner. They called Tuesday morning and stated it would be the following Monday until they could fix it. That equals 10 days without AC in the beginning heat of summer. I would never use them if it weren't for my warranty. I am calling the warranty company to assign another contractor.

Glad to have chosen them for our needs. Price was below than expected and service was timely. Service tech’s communicated effectively and arrived as scheduled. Techs were professional and knowledgeable of their service and completed the work timely and made sure as not to track dirt in and out of home. Cleaned up work areas as needed and were very friendly in attitude. Our experience with this company ranks top on our list and will select again for any future services

This company made an appointment to repair our central air that was leaking water or condensation onto out floor. We changed our plans to be home and they did not show. We tried calling the number provided and no one answered. Our home warranty company tried calling them and no one responded. This is the company that provides weekend coverage for Home Shield. Myer's Comfort Specialists of Birmingham was very unresponsive and very unprofessional. Very poor service.
