Other than the diagnostic price was $20 more than the lady said when I called, they were available, on time, knowledgeable, and professional.

Blake came out to service my ac unit he was on time, knowledgeable, and very professional.

Andrew was excellent - he found my unit had a warranty without my knowledge- what a great surprise - I had no paperwork myself on the unit as I am a new owner. He also patiently came out and kept pursuing the problem until he found what was wrong. Thank you so much

Owen was very thorough! He explained in laymens terms what the issue is with our unit. He explained our options and definitely represented the company WELL!

AVOID this company! They are overpriced and unethical. * * * *During the hottest day of the month, my heat pump failed. I contacted Aire Serv of Huntsville, because I was pleased with the maintenance technicians who had worked at my small townhouse in the past. * * * *Using arguments that favored replacement rather than repair, Aire Serv personnel promoted potential $8,000.00 rebates that I could receive if I purchased a system meeting the requirements of the Inflation Reduction Act, passed by Congress a month before. After opting for the installation of a new system, I learned that the rebates touted by Aire Serv applied only to systems installed after January 1, 2023. So, I'm not sure why Aire Serv personnel brought up the rebates, given that they didn't apply to my purchase. Closing the deal quickly is what I suspect was Aire Serv's goal, taking advantage of my situation. * * * *Now, I'm stuck with what amounts to a monthly luxury car payment for two years, without the benefit of the substantial rebates promoted by Aire Serv. Had I known that the cost of the ridiculously high-priced heat pump system would not be offset by any new rebates or tax credits, I certainly would have thought twice about the purchase. Aire Serv never accepted any responsibility for their misinformation and unethical sales tactics, and refused my request for a 10%, fair and reasonable, refund. A lesson learned the hard way about Aire Serv of Huntsville.

Love my system works great no problems.
James has the best work ethic . He never leaves us hanging when we need help.

TL;DR: I would still recommend Aire Serv over the other top rated HVAC companies that I got quotes from in the Huntsville area. They did a good job, were thorough communicators, taught me several things, and fixed their mistakes in a timely manner.

Things you should know/ask HVAC installers if getting new ducting/AC:
-Do they have workers comp insurance? If their guys get injured on your property, are they suing the company or you?
-Do they pull permits with the city, because legally they are supposed to
-At least in Huntsville, you have to have a GFCI outlet within 6 feet of your AC units to be up to code, do the installers mention this?
-Are prices final, or will they haggle you if they run into 'issues' during the job?
-Did the sales people do a heat load calculation to properly size a unit to your space?
I can happily say that Aire Serve passed all of these with flying colors and even taught me about a couple of them

Unfortunately, we had a few issues with the installers, which is why I am knocking off a star:
-Smoked on our property, including directly into the brand new AC unit while it was on, and including smoking then immediately walking into our house smelling like smoke
-They didn't clean up after themselves...hardly at all. After they left we found: 8 cigarette butts, metal screws, lots of insulation, a razor blade, broken glass, part of a hash brown, plastic packing material, and plastic bits outside. We also found a film of dirt/dust and a pile of wire clippings inside where they installed the new panel. They left a pile of stuff on our dining room table. (see pictures)
-They didn't wear shoe booties or face masks while in our house, despite the sales person assuring us that they would.

They came back and re-did the flashing and we are still waiting on the electrician to come out and install the GFCI outlet. But otherwise, all in all, I feel like they did a good job, and our AC isn't blowing mold and animal droppings into our house anymore.

Owen was very professional and did a great job of explaining what was done and giving recommendations for improvements. I love the visuals!

Aireserv of Huntsville is great company to use for all your heating and cooling needs. Theyhave been taking care of my HVAC systems since we moved here 3 years ago. We have learned to always use Neighborly Companies for our home service needs.
