Came home after a long, hot day and our house was 80F inside. Sent a note to Stramowski Heating at 12:30 am. Kyle arrived this morning and showed me some maintenance tricks, changed out our fuses and capacitor. I couldn’t imagine a better experience and I’ll will happily recommend them to anyone in the Milwaukee area.

Beware of this company! On their website they claim that there is no extra charge for work on weekends or holidays. However, this was not the case. They charge you a $139 fee just to diagnose the problem and then charge you an outrageous price to fix it. We were charged $245 to fill our air conditioner with a pound of R22 coolant. The technician took 30 minutes to complete the job. The cost of R22 coolant is $50 per pound. So why the outrageous price!? We were told by the technician to contact the owner with our concerns. We contacted him twice by phone and once by email and received no response. Stramowski Heating will not be in business long if they continue to be dishonest and not address customer concerns. I will never do business with them again. Very poor customer service!

Had Stramowski install a new AC unit a few weeks ago. Techs did a nice job like always but the unit installed was a different brand than what my sales rep told me I was getting. It was determined to be a misunderstanding and the units are very similar although one is made in USA and the other in Mexico. They ignored my requests for a price adjustment however my sales rep offered to have the more expensive unit I thought I was buying installed but i would not be able to get the same warranty which was equally frustrating. I left several messages with the manager that were never returned. Their Lennox rep called me and got me comfortable with the package I received which helped but this snafu left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I’m happy so far with the unit I received but I feel like I was mislead by the sales rep and overpaid. Not sure if I will use them next time. Their techs are great but the management response (lack of) after they messed up is very disappointing.

Totally professional. Focused start to finish on providing a quality installation of my new air conditioner. Kept me informed of the personnel involved (including sub-contractors). Everyone was kind and courteous. Job was scheduled quickly and completed as promised. Same can be said for my new heater installation several years ago.

I obtained estimates for boiler replacement from four HVAC contractors. One contractor designed a system that was very elaborate but overkill for my moderate size home and about $2500 higher than the others. Stramowski and another contractor were similar in price and equipment. However the responsiveness was very different. Stramowski had a quote to me in a week and Brian called back a few days later to ask if I had any questions. When I eventually got the other contractors quote (it took almost 3 weeks) that is when I felt it was comparable to Stramowski. The next time Brian called I mentioned the other brand of boiler. He was aware it and emailed the warranty from the other brand and the warranty from his brand. The brand Brian was recommending had a better warranty. Stramowski is also very near to our home which I felt would be better for service. After I signed the contract my old boiler started having problems. I called Stramowski and they came out twice in the week and a half before my installation date. They diagnosed the problem and we decided to limp along with reduced heat and space heaters since fixing would require major work. We were not charged for the visits, one of which was on a Sunday morning. The installation went smoothly. They got the boiler in and heating in a day and came back the next day to finish off the thermostats and a couple other minor things. The system is quiet compared to our previous boiler. The automatic air elimination is great. The house is warm and I expect to see a reduction in our gas bill. The installers were cheerful and answered questions that I had about how the various parts of the system worked. I would recommend Stramowski for new heating and cooling equipment.

Contacted Stramowski at 3:00pm on a Friday with temps in the single digits and falling. We had no heat and Kim, who answered the phone, was very kind and reassuring. She said a technician would call when on his way and it would be no later than 6:00 pm. The tech came at 4:30, he was friendly, polite, and got right to work. He had our furnace fixed and was out the door by 6:00pm! Could not be happier with the friendly and competent service we received.

I'm giving 5 stars for the integrity the manager, Phil, showed my wife and I when he replied back to our email raising concerns of a visit we had when our furnace decided not to start consistently. The technician that came will not be named as that's not the principle of this review but I think he might've been rushed as he mentioned he had three (3) other jobs to get to and it was brutally cold out. Maybe he was also inexperienced with a Nest thermostat. I don't know. I am not going to rip this organization like other reviewers did but I'd rather be honest and forthright. The service we received was poor at best but I clearly see the management in place at Stramowski takes things extremely seriously and I believe every word he stated in his email. Some outfits won't care, let alone reply....a refund from most? Yeah...right....

I'm not saying I'm done with this company, as I'm all about second chances but for now, I'll go elsewhere. The manager's response kept a possible client from going out the door for good. Phil clearly understands what's most important to clients and that is integrity and quality. I would recommend them but if your experience doesn't reach your expectations or you think something is off, be professional and contact the company. I did and I'm glad I did. Read the reviews here and you'll see the lion's share are 5 stars.

I like all four of these; quality, value, responsiveness and the punctuality. Their here when they said they would be. I fell that the price I paid for their service was very reasonable and their quality of work was very good. There has only been I feel times where I have had questions and each and every time Stramowskis' responsiveness has been excellent.
