Gross Heating & Air Conditioning

We have had Gross come out a few times and we've gotten the same buy, Randy, who is so INREDIBLE! He is polite, explains what he's doing and takes care of things efficiently. We trust him completely and Gross as well. Thanks for all the great service!!

Had, what I consider, a large installation in a Milwaukee bungalow. Full furnace and AC unit replacement, which included three Mitsubishi units in the upstairs. Even with the shortage of AC units due to the sudden heat wave in the Northwest, Gross did a fantastic job, kept me in the loop of any changes and the install crew couldn't have been better. Estimate was the total cost - no upcharges, changes, etc. and installers took the time to walk me through any decisions as they came up.

Some companies say they will treat you like family. Gross Heating ARE family. My 5 year old grandson still asks when those 'nice guys' are coming back. Best endorsement I can ever give.

Summary - Didn't deviate from estimate. Great installation with great care. Communicative and always kept to their promise. Great crew, who treated the house like it was their house and fantastic interactions. HIGHLY recommend!

I am very happy with the install of my furnace and AC from Gross Heating. The entire experience from sales to install was extremely professional. The install was nice and clean, the electrical subcontractor did great work, and the entire job areas was cleaned up after they were done. After the install was complete I had a couple of questions that were answered promptly by the office staff. I highly recommend Gross Heating.

Gross did a great job for us on our new A/C install. They offered a lot of knowledge and competitive pricing. Our installer Colton was very professional and detailed. We will be using Gross Heating and Air for our future HVAC needs!!

In late January 2023, I was out of the state when I received a concerned call from my 86-year-old Mom and father in law, telling me their furnace and heat were not working at her house. They had called an HVAC company (not Gross Heating) and this HVAC company said they did not have the part needed and they “might” get the part in the next few days. They gave them space heaters and left.

I immediately got on the phone as I was driving back to Wisconsin, to call my HVAC company, Gross Heating & Air Conditioning. It was a Saturday at around 7 pm, and there was a major winter storm happening at that time. The Gross Heating representative stated this was too risky, especially when the space heaters continued to trip fuses. I was blown away when the representative at Gross Heating said…they would get over to my Mom’s house immediately as they were worried about her and their situation. Keep in mind that it was later in the evening on a Saturday and there was a major winter storm occurring at the same time. Gross Heating made it to my Mom’s house that night in 10 inches of snow, THey identified the part that was needed, installed the part, fixed the furnace, removed the space heaters, and fixed the fuses that were tripped from these space heaters!!! I cannot say anything more about Gross Heating & Air Conditioning other than the fact that they are AMAZING!!! I normally do not provide reviews online, but Gross Heating & Air Conditioning went above and beyond and I can say they are best and most reliable HVAC company and they do the right thing for their customers.

Received a very fair price for new furnace w/ humidifier and A/C system install (Carrier). The team showed up on our scheduled day (mid-April) and were absolutely great! Clean, efficient and nice communication! Started at 7:30am and were done by 2:30pm. Showed us how to use the system and it has been running flawlessly since. Another tech came back when it got warmer to check A/C system and all good. Highly recommend!

From selling to the install, Gross Heating did an excellent job. When Jeff first came to the house to give us a quote, he was very accommodating and laid out all the options so we could make our best selections for a new furnace and a/c.
The installers arrived on time. The first thing they told me was that they were working for me and their job that day was to keep me happy and they did! The install itself went very smoothly overall. Mike explained how to operate the equipment to us in terms we could understand. The job site was thoroughly cleaned up before they left. I called the office to arrange for payment and the office staff member was very cordial. Everyone in the company behaved professionally and are just nice people. Gross Heating did an excellent job and I highly recommend them.

On Easter weekend our furnace died. Would not restart no matter what. I decided that we did not want to pay for off hour fees to have Gross come out, so we threw some wood in our fireplace and kept the house warm enough to enjoy the family festivities as we were hosting 15 people for our house. I called and a message to schedule someone as soon as possible Monday. I received a call that following Monday morning and they were at the house by 10AM. What they found was a small chickadee had crawled into the output pipe and the furnace could not get oxygen to burn. I paid a nominal fee to remove it and it has worked perfectly ever since! Thanks Gross again for quickly fixing our problem and getting us up and running quickly. Heat to you all!

I have only positive things to say about Gross Heating & AC!! From my first phone call to request support/appt to the woman who called to alert me that a technician was on the way to meeting Corey my technician--every one was so kind and professional. I was provided a fair assessment and I was relieved at how affordable my specific AC repair was in the end. Corey was efficient, quick, and a true miracle worker as my AC feels wonderful now :) I will recommend Gross to anyone who is in need of their services and I plan on being a return customer if I experience any heating/cooling needs in the future!
