Gross Heating & Air Conditioning

Gross Heating installed our new Carrier Furnace and Central Air July 2018 and recently went to turn on the central air, and to my surprise, it was not working. Called to schedule a service appointment and upon inspection of the unit, the determination was the compressor was broken, could not believe this as the unit was less than a year old. I hoped to have had the entire AC unit replaced instead of the replacement of the compressor as the unit was only one year old, and we were concerned about how the unit would work going forward. After a discussion with the owner, the entire unit is being replaced; this is an example of why we continue to use Gross Heating and will continue to do so in the future. This is our second Furnace and Central Air Unit that we have purchased from Gross Heating, and have also purchased a whole house dehumidifier, and they installed our duct work for a second story remodel that did not have sufficient duct work. My wife and I recommend Gross Heating to all our friends and family and will continue to partner with them on our future needs. Their staff, including the office workers, are always friendly and very professional, more companies should use Gross Heating as an example of customer service and how a business should be run.

Was referred to Gross Heating & Air Conditioning by several neighbors. Corey performed a furnace tune-up and was very professional and courteous. By total coincidence a few days after the tune-up, a damper snapped off, and Randy was quick to come repair. He was also very friendly and professional. Will definitely use for future HVAC needs.

The work was expertly done by Bill, who did a thorough check of each system and provided us with a list of the services he performed. Bill was courteous, very personable and very responsive to our questions.

Randy came out to our home and performed maintenance on our boiler. He provided excellent service and was professional. I have used Gross Heating multiple times in the past, and to be honest, their service is just superior!

Gross Heating and Air conditioning has been nothing but OUTSTANDING every step of the way and in every project they have done. We added air conditioning to our home three years ago. Since we have hot water heat there was no duct work in our two story home. We also have in floor hydronic heat in a large part of the first floor and in the bathrooms of the second story. EVERYONE told us we would need to put in a high velocity system at an astronomical cost. When we brought Jeff in from Gross (a salesman who had years of experience as an installer) he was very thorough in examining the home. He then asked, "Is there any reason you want a high velocity system?" We told him that that is what we assumed we needed, since several other air-conditioning contractors advised us in this way. Jeff said, "I don't think its necessary. We can put a conventional system in this house. It will be much less expensive and it will do the job well." He outlined in detail how the system would work and where the ducts would be placed. We received the estimate and were blown away at how reasonable the price was. It was, in some cases, HALF of what other estimates were.

The installation, workmanship, and courtesy of the technicians was as good as the estimate and Jeff's initial contact with us. They took great care with our home and did not rush the job. Since they were at our home for a week, with several technicians working on the job, I was even more amazed that they could do it for the price we paid.

After three years, we couldn't be more pleased. One issue that surfaced was quickly and efficiently handled. They not only did a fabulous job at the install, they do a fabulous job in service.

This fall we needed a new boiler. We did not call anyone else because we knew we wanted to use Gross. Jeff again did the estimate. The price was good. Jesse and Mike did the install in three days. With all the zones: baseboard heat on both stories, two zones of in floor heat, and domestic hot water that is run through the system, the project was fairly complicated. It turned out great! We now have a high efficiency boiler. It is quiet, and ALL our issues with the previous system have been solved. THANK YOU GROSS! Your are fantastic! I could not give Gross a higher recommendation. Since doing business with them, I feel as if they are friends rather than a business. It gives us peace of mind to have Gross handling all of our heating and air-conditioning needs.

Gross is an expceptional and outstanding company. Professional, polite, clean and always go the extra mile that quality work demands. They installed a Carrier funrace in my home last fall which is an amazing product. They also service my heating and cooling and have been terrific. Would highly recommend.

The installation of our new carrier furnace and I-touch wifi thermostat was done quickly and proficiently. Both technicians explained things they were doing. They also explained operation of the thermostat and left printed instructions too.They laid runners down to protect our carpets and wood floors and cleaned up everything before leaving. We have always had good service from Gross and highly recommend them.

Our first experience with Gross Heating & Air Conditioning was fantastic! The Service Technician was very thorough, knowledgeable and didn't try to oversell any unnecessary products or services. When the time comes to have additional work done with our central air or furnace, we'll get choosing Gross!
