Olson Energy Service

We have been working with Olson for over 12 years when we first purchased our furnace and water heater. Each year we have them come out and do an annual inspection, cleaning and maintenance. A great company to work with, and when we eventually need to replace our furnace, we will call them back to do the job. We highly recommend them.

Olson installed our heat pump a few years ago. Great price. On time. Very professional. No problems whatsoever and the heat pump has worked magnificently. Definitely recommend. We were especially happy that they didn't try to upsell us and that when we call we are able to reach someone directly rather than going thru a phone service. They have provided two service calls for us. One for a checkup on the heat pump (everything great!) and one to help us with a filter system that had gone awry (not installed by them). Servicemen are professional and knowledgeable.

The crew was awesome..friendly, helpful, informative. We haven’t used our new heat pump system yet but we’re confident it will be a much needed improvement in keeping our home cool in the summer and comfortable in the colder months. Thanks Olsen!

Called due to leaking water heater while I was out of town and my pregnant wife was home. The technician (Yuri) criticized my wife for not having replaced the heaters sooner and then left without doing the most basic mitigations, leaving the tank to flood my services room.

I called Olson and spoke with a man (Chris?) explaining the situation (i.e. this being an emergency). He told me that he would call me back in a few minutes but he never did and when I tried to call back they did not answer the phone.

I ended up having to research what to do (thanks Google!) and coach my wife to turn off the water and gas valves to the water heater tank. Why Yuri didn't do this basic mitigation step is hard to comprehend. It has been 3 days and I still have not received a call from Olson.

As a result we found Best Plumbing who were fast, professional and fixed everything the same day that we spoke with them. I will be using Best Plumbing from now on.

I contacted Olson Energy Service on a very cold Friday in Seattle when the furnace had stopped working at one of our rental houses. Yuriy came out within 30 minutes of my call (other companies that I had called told me that they wouldn't be able to look at the furnace until Monday or Tuesday the following week). Yuriy was professional, thorough, found the problem and fixed it efficiently and all at a reasonable price. I will definitely call Olson again!

No return of email or phone calls for 3 days. Heat pumps were not working and the tech ended up calling back 2 days later and stated that he is not driving out to Sammamish to help me. Then why call? Phone goes straight to voice mail and they do not return your call. Emails go un-answered.

We have been doing business with Olson Energy Service for over 10 years, and we will continue to use them in the future. We highly recommend the company and the workman.
