The company is great because they focus exclusively on Mitsubishi heat pumps. We decided to go the heat pump route on an older craftsman. We got multiple estimates and the range of proposed installations and estimates was vast. It was clear to us that many companies don’t know much about heat pumps. Progressive was both one of the less expensive bids and the most rationale. Our system was installed four years ago and we have not had any issues. Great local company that cares about what they do. Highly recommend.

Suraj and his team were excellent to work with from first contact through completion of project. I really liked that he invited me to the showroom to see the different units to make my decision. Definitely a unique service that this company provides. I would hands down recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a ductless system. I am so happy with the system I have, especially with our hot and smoky summers.

We got quotes from a couple companies and went with Progressive because Suraj was super knowledgeable and professional but was also fair priced and even suggested a less expensive system. His team actually installed our system over a year ago so we’re now on our second winter and have had one summer with it. I engaged Progressive Comfort Solutions after talking to several ductless heating/coollng contractors in the area. This company is by far the most professional one I contacted, with a wealth of knowledge and experience to ensure the best possible design and installation experience. The system they installed has worked great for two years so far. It is comforting to know that if there is ever a problem, a team of experienced professionals are there to take care of any issues. I highly recommend them!

We decided to go with Suraj (Progressive Comfort Solutions) for the following reasons: He was unwilling to cut corners on the install (like some other installers we talked to). He's the owner and came out to do the estimate (other installers sent sales people). He was more knowledgeable about product maintenance (other installers gave us incorrect information on cleaning/filter replacement). He "right sized" the install. Another installer gave us a lower spec unit, and I'm happy we have the more powerful unit this winter.

Our initial appointments went very well. Suraj was very responsive and communicative. He worked with us to get the install done quite quickly, even though he was concerned that parts might not arrive on time. The install looks very good. Much better than our neighbors. I had some issues with the way the electrical was run (quality of pipes and design of the channels on the house). I brought this up with Suraj. He agreed to fix and did not collect the final payment for our install until after the electrical work was done to our satisfaction. It took a while to get this work done (a few months). However, the system worked fine during this time and there was no hardship to us. There was a part of the electrical that I wanted different even after the fix, but it wasn't important enough do have it redone. To clarify I asked for seamless galvanized pipe and the electrician used plastic, fit-together pieces. The rest of the issues were resolved.

We're about 8 months in and we're very happy with the heat pump install. Suraj estimated and charged more than some other bids we got, but I don't regret spending the extra money for the quality and service we got. I would recommend Progressive Comfort Solutions.

We chose to upgrade our heating to the ductless system, both to add AC and to eliminate our old gas furnace. This was driven by our goals to improve indoor air quality by not burning fossil fuels in our home and also adding the comfort of AC.

Shiraj and his team did a great job of explaining the process and cons of the system and also the install process. I have no complaints about the installation.

It's great having AC for our increasingly hotter summers. The heating during the recent cold snaps does sometimes require an additional space heater. We're still figuring this out.

All in all, a great upgrade- especially with our new solar system!

Suraj was really great to work with! We got a few quotes for a full ductless system and ended up going with Progressive because they were realistic on the timeline, their price was competitive, they had installed in multiple homes in our neighborhood and it didn't feel like they were trying to "sell" us. I would absolutely recommend working with them!!

Suraj and his team were all incredibly helpful and professional. Suraj provided a great deal of useful input as we worked through deciding on the parameters of a ductless heat pumpt system so that it met our needs. And his installation team were all extremely friendly and professional. They did high quality work and left our property in great shape. We needed to have a very old gas furnace replaced. Given the increase in very hot summer days in Seattle, plus the desire for something efficient and all electric, we went with a heat pump system. We got four bids, and Progressive seemed to offer the best package for us. We had a ducted unit installed to replace the gas-fired hot air furnace, connected to our existing hot air duct system. We also had a wall-mounted mini split ductless unit installed in a room in the basement not well served by the duct system. We have been happy with the result. On very cold mornings, this system does take longer to bring the house temperature up from the nighttime temp to the daytime thermostat setting, so we now have the thermostat set to 62° from 10 PM to 5:30 AM, then it goes up to 64 at 5:30, up to 66 at 6:30, and then up to 68° at 7:30 AM. Works for us!

Great company! Installed our mini-split during COVID and supply chain issues. They were able to expedite our equipment and get the system installed in a reasonable time despite that. The install team and estimator were all awesome!
