Olson Energy Service

Started with Olson in 1990, when they delivered the heating oil for the house tank. A couple-three years later they pulled out the oil furnace and installed a new gas furnace. And about 24 years later, that was updated to a newer, more efficiency, and better build gas one.

This is a "thank you letter" for a job well done.

When I agreed to have your company, Olson Energy install my heating/cooling system you gave me the assurance that I was dealing with a quality, reliable company and the price was competitive. You were right on all counts! The work crew was not only highly efficient they were neat, polite and worked well together so that the job was completed on time as promised. They arrived on time and when they had completed the job my place was left as neat and tidy as when they found it.

The Mitsubishi units are awesome and the "silence" in the room is wonderful. I am enjoying the experience.

Olson Energy removed our old oil furnace and venting from the basement of our 100 year-old home and installed a new heat pump system and did it all beautifully. It took a lot of creative and custom venting to get the performance we needed all the way up the 2nd floor of the house all while working within the constraints of future remodeling plans. Great, quick response for a furnace replacement in a cold February. Chris was the sales contact, Tom and Larry did the installation. Great experience all around. There were some complications with the existing plumbing / ventilation, but Olson came back the day after installation to troubleshoot and make sure everything was up and running. Strong recommendation: Everyone involved was responsive, cheerful, and stood behind the work.

My furnace stopped working during the coldest few days in December. I called Olson to have someone come fix it. I called at noon on a Friday. The woman who took my call told me I need to call back on Monday after 8 am. Being unwilling to have my family freeze over the weekend, I asked if anything else could be done. She said that she just answers the phone.

Useless.

I wrote a negative review in frustration because I was unable to get Olson to address my complaints after the installation. The fan system was horribly loud. They explained that the current 'heat dome' stretched them beyond their normal capacity, they did come out and adjust the fan settings, and the system work well now. It did take them longer than normal, but they were very professional when they were able to come.

This company did a fantastic job for a reasonable price!
