Washington Energy installed our Daikin LV Heat Pump Mini Split AC just before the summer heat and we love it. They showed up on time and were very professional and efficient. The installers listened to our concerns and explained the operation really well. They wore masks inside which we appreciated. The pricing was competitive. The Mini Split has been keeping our place nice and cool and the outside unit is nice and quiet. We would definitely recommend this company!

My husband and I have a two-year-old home and didn’t think we needed air conditioning so did not have it installed when we built our home. Our second summer in our home and 80 and 90 degree temps changed our mind! We were a little concerned about how we would go about an install post- construction, but after talking with Washington Energy Services, we fully understood our options and were confident in proceeding. We couldn’t be happier with how things went from start to finish. David, our sales representative, came to our home twice in advance of the install and was very friendly and knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. We were also able to get our installation scheduled promptly at the height of hot summer weather. Our installation technicians, Teo and Erik, were conscientious, courteous and competent. Because our install was post construction, we had to access the attic area to run lines, which required cutting into the drywall. Even though it took them more time, they took extreme care to only cut two holes in areas that were not in visible sections of our home. We were very appreciative that they cared to do the job right rather than fast – even working into the evening hours on a Friday night. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Washington Energy Services to any of our friends.

Isaac from Washington Energy Services came to our house for a service call for our furnace. He was prompt, gave me a call when he was on the way, and was super nice! Not only was he able to figure out the problem and solve it quickly, he gave me tons of super useful information regarding not only our furnace but other house stuff (I'm a new homeowner). I appreciated the time he took to give me all the information and was more than impressed overall with the experience. I will definitely considered going through WES again when it is time for us to replace our furnace.

After reviewing bids from five different heating companies we decided to go with Washington Energy Services. Our information/sales person was Rick Ranniger who was by far the most knowledgeable and practical person encountered in our search. He gave us a concrete no frills estimate of what would be practical in our circumstance together with options. As we were without heat, he put us on a cancelation schedule.
Our installers were efficient, polite, careful with our home and well spoken. The office automatically registered our furnace to make sure
we have the extended warranty provided though registration.

This job was exceptionally executed! All phases, from the consultation and sale, to the pre--construction site verification, to the permits, and finally the install with electrcial and mechanical trades, went off exactly as planned. I would recommend no other but Washington Energy Services!

Our heat pump was stopping intermittently so we called WES since the unit was installed by them by the previous owners. I had already diagnosed the problem (thanks google) and knew it was a $30 part and only two screws to replace it. I figured I would have the heat pump serviced and they could replace the part then.

Well, once everything was done, I was handed a $300 bill. I knew the price of a service call so I thought there must be a mistake but no, they charged me for a service call, extra labor for installing the part (2 screws) and an astounding $140 for the part ($30 retail). The technician hadn't been there longer than 20 minutes total. I called the service manager to verify all of the charges and they explained that was the standard rate and everything was correct.

I'm glad this experience happened to me on just a service call. The technician told me that with the age of my heat pump, it will need to be replaced sometime in the near future. Whenever this happens, I know that I will save myself from being bent over by Washington Energy Services again and call a reputable HVAC company instead.

Had air conditioning installed last November, as part of that installation they decided to change out the filter box on the stack because they mangled the existing one, which meant that the stack of filters I had on hand are now worthless. I was told not to worry, as they would automatically be sending me replacement filters quarterly for the next year because they changed the filter box, and if I wanted I could extend the service after that. Well we are now 4 months out from that, I have received nothing, I have sent a half dozen emails requesting status and they can't even reply. I can't really justify rating lower than 3 stars though because the technicians that came out to do the work were stellar, and all my interactions with people have been great, it is just getting them to actually engage that can be a nightmare.

The experience was great, but there are a couple of issues that prevented me from giving the full 5-star rating, which are detailed below. The windows look awesome and we've already noticed a difference in the sound and vibration we use to experience. We live near SeaTac airport flight path and our old windows (metal framed, original construction) would vibrate. After the installation we've had no rattles and the sound is much more muffled. I am also waiting for the 1st good windstorm as the old windows would whistle as the wind passed through them.

Now to the issues - It seemed to take forever to get it all done. I signed the contract Nov 9 and installation was completed Jan 24th. I understand they needed to build the windows and other logistics, but it just seems like a long time.

The other issue is that on the last day after the crew had left, I found both of my gates were left open. I have a dog and they need to be better aware of that issue as part of the clean-up efforts.

Otherwise, the experience was great from the initial quote to final installation. I highly recommend WES.

WES installed a new furnace last year, replacing a 20-year-old furnace. Also my 4-year old tankless water heater had been giving trouble that my previous service company could not resolve. WES had the trained, knowledgeable technicians to do an excellent job with both systems. They came yesterday for the one-year maintenance of both systems - arrived on time, courteous and friendly, and most important, knowledgeable and trained to do the work.

Ok, so this is long overdue. Almost 8 years ago we had Washington Energy Services install a new furnace in our house. They did an inspection and gave us several quotes with options. One thing that impressed me was that they described the differences between the different brands and talked about why they use certain ones and not others. They explained they weren't always the cheapest. I have gone cheap before, and it ended up costing a lot more in the long run. We chose one that has space in the bottom for a heat pump upgrade. We plan to do that sometime soon. They showed up on time to do the installation, and did a professional job. The work was completed quickly and efficiently, and we have had ZERO problems in eight years, which is exactly what we want. I would and do recommend Washington Energy Services to anyone looking for a new furnace.
