    I called 1st Response because we were having a problem with our furnace and they were able to send a technician first thing the very next morning. Dalton was everything you could ask for in a tech. Very polite, friendly and knowledgeable, he was able to diagnose and repair our problem within about an hour.
    I highly recommend 1st Response for quick, professional and very reasonably priced diagnosis and repairs to your heating or cooling system.

    Kat came out for the annual cleaning of our heater, she was prompt and called ahead of time letting me know she would be here. She was polite, explained what needed done and was out of here in no time. She was beyond amazing, I'd hire her in a heart beat if I ran a HVAC company! Make sure she gets a big raise, otherwise your competitors might steal her!

    We hired 1st Response to remove our wall furnace that died and replace it with a combo ceiling unit (downstairs) and slim duct unit (upstairs). The professionalism and courtesy that the installation crew (Lyle as lead) and the office staff (Kyonghui as POC) provided was AMAZING!! Throughout the process, our house provided SEVERAL unexpected challenges that required a lot of extra effort from 1st Response. Due to the complications, the total install did require an additional 2 visits to get everything just right, BUT we didn't pay a penny for any of the extra work as it was all covered as part of our initial purchase warranty for equipment and workmanship.

    Long story short, there's no end to the list of great things I could say about First Response. Strongly recommended and we plan to utilize their services for our next home as well!

    If you want things to be done twice, forfeit the warranty and get charge 200% the normal rate, then that is the outfit for you.
    I contracted them to install a dual stage variable speed force air heater in my home.
    • When they were half way through the installation process of the first heater, I found out that it was a single stage. They removed the wrong heater and install a dual stage; however when the dual stage got installed it was never installed square, it is tilled.
    • The same story for the thermostat that was first installed was the wrong one it did not handle variable speed. So they replace it with a thermostat that can handle the variable speed.
    • The ducted work for the exhaust was installed incorrectly and had to be replaced on the follow up visit after installation
    When I requested a diagnostic check for an issue two weeks after the one year installation, they came out and their charge was 200% above the normal rate. Also I found out that if you do not sign up for their annual plan they consider you that you forfeit the 10 year parts & labor warranty of all furnace parts!

    After my old gas furnace failed (pro tip: Carbon monoxide detectors can save your life!), 1st Response Heating installed a new furnace.

    Tristan and Rylan were awesome. They didn't bat an eye at my requests to take extra precautions around COVID-19, were polite, understanding (even gracious) about it all. And they efficiently installed the furnace, tested it, answered all my questions, and were generally an excellent advertisement for 1st Response.

    I'm so grateful you are there, doing the hard work, in spaces controlled by other people, in these dark and perilous days near (I fervently hope) the peak of a deadly pandemic.

    Our furnace was working only sporadically - the flame would come on maybe 20% of the time. 1st Response sent Dalton for the diagnostic. He was on time and very professional. Naturally the furnace behaved for him, but he was still able to identify the problem: although it was hard to see, the circuit board was scorched. They were able to schedule Dalton again for the repair, and that also went well and the furnace works great now. We would definitely choose 1st Response again.

    We have had a really great experience with 1st response. We had no ducts in our house and had wall heaters and were looking for central heating and cooling, they recommended the mini split ducted units which was the perfect solution for our house.

    They also have comfort guarantee, which is really good too.

    My technician was Rylan Utter and he did a great job! He came prepared and was quick, efficient, and got my gas fireplace back up and running. And, he vacuumed the large number of stink bugs out of it before firing it up. It's the little things...

    Braxton and his team were very professional and timely. Had our AC system about four years and it has been great during the summer months! Annual maintenance scheduling has been easy.
