Chris is a breath of fresh air. He was extremely professional while still maintaining a friendly demeanor. We briefly spoke about our pets as he was making last-minute adjustments and checking my thermostat. You have a really good ambassador for your company in Chris. I think he has the ability to get along with anyone and that’s so important in repairs and customer service. Chris should be recognized for his communication skills. He kept me informed throughout the job so I knew at all times what was going on. He shared tips with me about changing filters and other things (like not letting my oil tank get empty!). I totally enjoyed having Chris here and I am delighted with the outcome.

Sadly had an AC unit go die after 10 yrs. (6 weeks after warranty expired) Johnson Controls failed to make my intake duct big enough causing air flow restriction. Woodfin was able to figure this out and go over their products and there was no pressure in which unit to select. Install got moved up 4 days and a custom piece of ductwork was installed on day 2 and system is up and running. Techs were great, friendly, explained things, efficient and cleaned up.

All of their field crew members are very polite, friendly and know their stuff. They put 2 complete units in our house and did it fast and well @ $14,000+. I have referred Woodfin several times to friends and family because of their crews alone. Last month my neighbor upon my referral installed used Woodfin to install a complete system in their house @ $16,000. I find Woodfin to be on the high end of doing what they do ie $$$ wise. Yesterday I had a capacitor go out on my outside unit so I called Woodfin again, of course. The very first thing out of their mouth was ... "There will be a $99 service charge..." and that before I even addressed my issue. Woodfin is All About The $! I made them $35,000!!! I am not asking for preferential treatment, but I know what my problem is. I do not need to pay them $99 to drive to my home and "diagnose" my issue which will take about 1 minute for that ... $99. This type of tactic that businesses are using to make a bunch of extra $$ is a very sad way to treat the people that makes them Millions of $$$ every year. Call it what you will any company that charges a "Diagnosis Fee" a "Trip Fee" a "Consultation Fee", etc use those "fees" to fleece even more money out of the public and our hard earned money. Novel Business Idea #1: Charge us a fair "Fee" for the services you provide without the add on's. Business Idea #2: Reward your customers that support you. I am not looking for attention or special treatment, however, I know my neighbor told them that I they got the job because of Me. A knock on the door and "A hey, thanks for the referral next door" which would have taken about 3 minutes would have shown they appreciate their past and possible future customers. That did not happen. Therefore, today I am using one of Woodfin's top competitors and I will refer them... if they do a good job. I am sorry that I gave and made Woodfin $35,000 (that I personally know of) only to find out I am just A Number, a # of $'s.
