Eagar Heating and Cooling

In December my gas fireplace stopped working. I guess everyone else’s did too because it was hard to get ahold of anyone. I called Alpine Fireplace and left several messages. They didn’t even bother calling me back. Called Hearth and Home and got on the calendar for the end of January but they seemed annoyed. It was $175 service call no matter what was wrong with it just for the visit. Saw on Facebook someone posted about Eagar Heating and Cooling. They got back to me quickly, very friendly, and even though I got on the schedule for the beginning of February they ended up coming out early January. They accommodated my work schedule, fixed and cleaned my fireplace and price was reasonable. Very happy.

Brian came out same day to repair an AC that wasn’t working. He quickly diagnosed that it was the capacitor and replaced it for $135. He also added some more coolant for $80 per pound. He was friendly and I feel like the price was reasonable. We will use them again!

In the end it appears that a mouse chewed through wiring on my furnace fan. As a result, electricity traveled through the mouse and destroyed the control board and a transformer. This combination of problems was difficult to diagnose, but the Eagar staff worked through it. The cost was reasonable for the work that they did. In my recent experience with other providers, I had the feeling that the technicians were incentivized to upsell other services. With Eager, I had the feeling that the Eager technicians were there to fix my problem.

Brian called that he was ahead of schedule, he serviced my Gas Fireplace and it looks as good as new. It works perfectly again. I was very impressed with the service I received. I definitely will call them for service on all of my heating and air conditioning needs.

Called first thing this morning because our blower was not turning on when the AC was calling. Other HVAC companies told us to replace our thermostat - which didn't work. Spoke with Brian who after listening to the issue, quickly and correctly diagnosed the issue over the phone (bad circuit board) and was able to fit us in between appointments ro replace it. From the time I called to the time he left my home having fixed the issue was 2 hours! He was fast, professional and knowledgeable and price seemed fair. Would absolutely recommend!

Last year we decided to remodel our home. We have lived in the same house in Alpine for 32 years. The first step in the process was to install a furnace and air conditioner. We talked with lots of people and got several bids. After careful consideration we chose Eagar Heating and Cooling to do the installation work for us. Chris and his crew were professional, competent, tidy, and friendly. They did an excellent job with the installation and got the job done on time. Their bid was also very competitive. If a person is looking for a contractor to help them with heating and cooling needs, make sure you get a bid from Eagar Heating and Cooling. You will not be disappointed.

After struggling with my A/C system for a couple of years I reached out to Eager heating and cooling for help. They showed up on time and that day had a bid for me with several options and went over each option and how it would work for my house. Once I decided to have the work done they set up a installation time and showed up on time. The workers were efficient, clean and very nice they even wore masks when doing the work in the house. Wish I would have done it sooner makes a world of difference in the house. Would recommend them to anybody that needs furnace or A/C work done. You won’t go wrong.

I cringe when I have to call new repair people. I try friends first that are in the service business to see who they use. Eager was that type of recommendation and I have been SO impressed. We have three units and ALL have had to be looked at in the past month. I tried them on the first breakdown of the initial unit and wouldn't use anyone else again. Brian was FANTASTIC and I don't write reviews often (three in my life so far) but he was unbelievable and fair and honest and I can't say enough!!

We had another local company try to fix our gas fireplace, but it wound up costing us quite a bit of money with nothing to really show for it. We then called Eager Heating and on one trip they diagnosed the problems, fixed them, cleaned everything (including the inside of the glass!) and now the fireplace works as new. Great company to work with.

We bought our air conditioners from them when we built our house 13+ years ago. We're happy to report they are both still working. We've had a few small hiccups, but this company has been great to quickly come out, diagnose, and fix the problem @ a very affordable price. We will continue to use them and highly recommend this company!!!! It's also reassuring that the same person who sold us our units is still there. Working with Chris has been great!!!
