JC with High Country HVAC was awesome!! Our furnace and a/c died unexpectedly. He was able to come quickly and install just as quickly and to our schedule. His price was also very competitive. They even addressed problems with our system that was not to code. Thank you so much High Country HVAC!!

Great experience with High Country HVAC. At a very busy time for them, as temps were climbing and many AC units were failing, they worked us into their service schedule quickly. JC diagnosed the issue right away, had the part in-hand shortly thereafter, and we were cooling off in no time. Thanks to JC and the High Country team for your fast, friendly and professional service!

Used JC for a new home build. He was extremely responsive and got our Manual J&D and other documentation needed for our permit quickly. He designed our HVAC system (~5500 sq ft ranch style) amazingly. We are so impressed at how well and efficiently the home heats and cools. I would use JC again without question.

After 20 years, my air conditioner began to freeze up (on a Sunday, of course!). I talked with the manager at High Country HVAC and he had a repair technician at my home the next day (Monday) to inspect my system. The repair technician called me and diagnosed the leak in my air conditioner and explained why it could not be repaired (environmental hazard and regulations) and talked to me about replacing the A/C alone or doing the entire HVAC system. He answered all of my questions and explained everything to me respectfully and almost apologetically (he's probably not a multi-millionaire either!) Next I talked with the manager and he came to my home that afternoon to discuss all of my options. My choices were explained to me in layman's terms that I could understand and it was easy to choose my new system. 2 days after that (Wednesday), the installers were at my home installing my new system. The installation took all day the first day and after that my system was up and running! The next day, the installers came back, ran a few tests and taught me about my new thermostat and explained my rebates (the manager had already filled out all of his parts on the rebate forms and the parts I needed to fill out were highlighted - loved this!) to me. They were professional, personable, and respectful to me and my property. During the installation of my air conditioner, the installers were very careful and made every effort to impact our existing landscaping as little as possible. During the installation of my new furnace, the installers wore booties over their shoes and laid down drop cloths to protect my carpet. I have already recommended High Country HVAC to my neighbors (whose homes are about the same age as mine!) and will continue to do so without reservation. Honest, professional, competent, transparent, and respectful are words I would use to describe High Country HVAC.

We love these guys! Can't say enough good about them. Our builders installed the lowest, crappiest stuff & Mike has kept it running for us. He even came on Christmas Eve with a smile on his face when our furnace went out. Fantastic company & service.

High Country HVAC is very helpful and professional. They have been our "go-to" HVAC company for repair, installation, maintenance, service, and general questions for over 8 years now. We trust them and they have demonstrated integrity and professionalism in every interaction. We highly recommend High Country HVAC.

We had a terrible experience with High Country. Our house is only 3 years old and the AC unit was installed by High Country. When we called to let them know our AC unit was out -spewing oil and freon-they put us on an "urgent" list and they said they would be out in a little more than a week. When they came out they verified that the unit failed due to a bad manufactures weld. My wife asked about a dent in the top of the unit since it could have been part of the problem and she was told that it was probably hit by a stucco guy's ladder. They called us back and quoted us a $1700 bill to come out and fix the unit with the new-under warranty-part OR we could buy a new unit for $2000. They said that they would talk to Lennox because we were getting nowhere on a replacement unit from them. They came back and said they could get us a discount and the new unit would be $1400. We sought a second opinion. The new company came out and asked who dropped our unit. Not only had the dent caused damage but there was additional internal damage that couldn't have been done by having a stucco guys ladder falling on it as we were told by High Country. We received an estimate from this new company to come and fix it and it was less than half ($700). High Country did not take any responsibility for installing a faulty unit and then wanted to overcharge us to fix it. They did not do the right thing in my situation and it was very disappointing that they do not stand behind their product, didn't appear to be honest, and would only push blame to another party.
