Gunthers worked with us on short notice to entirely replace our HVAC system with a new AC unit, furnace, blower, and reconfigured vents. They came in with the best bid among several companies contacted, offering a two-zone system with high-end Lennox products for substantially lower than competitors offering one zone. The job ended up being more complicated than expected, but they stuck to their original bid price. Their technicians were very pleasant and highly professional. We could not be happier with the service. For the first time since we purchased the home 15 years ago, we are comfortable in every room of our three-story house even on the hottest days of summer. Highly recommended!

These guys are awesome! They're very professional, and go out of their way to make a positive experience. We recently had them replace our furnace with a high efficiency Lennox furnace (which we love). We left the old AC in place since it was still working. Just discovered a problem with our AC which may or may not have happened during the furnace install. Any other company likely would have denied blame, but Gunther's took 100% responsibility. These guys definitely go above and beyond. These are honest, hard working folks.
People say that the furnace you install doesn't matter so much as the quality of the install. Gunther's was definitely the right choice. They've certainly earned our future business!

We called Gunther's to fix problems that were flagged on our daughter's home inspection before she moved in to her new home. Jake addressed all the problems and had all the things fixed for her when she moved in. I can't say enough about how pleasant and professional he was. He went the extra mile also getting her swamp cooler ready for the hot weather. We also had Jason give us an assessment of the cost of central air vs the swamp cooler she had. He was also very pleasant and professional. Due to the cost during these times of Covid we opted to wait but we have full confidence that Jason would be the one to call when she decides to do it.

Talk about profession experience. I am extremely impressed with Gunthers and their willingness to ensure customer satisfaction. I received 3 bids for a home furnace replacement. 2 came in $800 more expensive than Gunthers, and all for a name brand furnace with the same efficiency rating. Best of all, throughout this experience, was the company's desire to ensure everything was properly taken care of. From and engineer coming on site to properly evaluate and design the new furnace fittings, to calls from management to follow up to ensure everything was working as promised. I was shocked how well they dealt with a minor problem during the install. On the second day, one installer accidentally knocked over a small ladder onto my water softener--which broke off a valve part. When the accident happened, the installer quickly told me about it and said they would resolve the problem. It took a few days without soft water, but the company made sure they sent off my device for repair and to ensure the cost was covered. Senior management even called back several times to ensure everything was working properly. I am extremely impressed with their attention to detail, overall customer service and solid knowledge of all-things HVAC--and willingness to repair the accidental damage that was done--and without hesitation. Again, very impressed. I would use again, and without hesitation.

My experience with Gunthers was great. We had a new furnace installed and additional duct work for more cold air returns. They were professional and explained the process really well. They also addressed my concerns and Stetson was awesome in fixing those concerns.

Gunthers was great! The way my condominium complex was built required Gunthers to access my neighbors unit for the work I hired them to do and due to the Covid-19 stay at home order, my neighbor decided she wouldn't allow them to access her home mid installation. The crew did all the work they could and came back to finish the work as soon as the governor's stay at home order ended over a month later. In the time in between, they were extremely flexible with payment and worked hard to get things resolved for me.

On top of how they handled the circumstances, they fixed some major issues that were not part of the original estimate without adding any costs. Dwight and Stenson were awesome and the receptionists I worked with were very accommodating to the situation. There were two other people that came on to my place for the job whos names I sadly can't remember but were just as great as all the other people I interacted with. I would highly recommend Gunthers to anyone.

I appreciated this service. First the company called with a cancellation and got our service done early. The technician, Nathan,was friendly and thorough. He listened to our concerns with our furnace and what has been going on. He looked at many parts of our furnace to diagnose the problem. He found some prior issues we weren’t aware of. I also appreciate that he explained things to me as he was going through. I am now much more knowledgeable about what is going on. He found our capacitor was running low and had one on hand to replace right away. I am very hopeful now that our furnace will run better than ever before.

We have had a service contract with Gunther's for several years and have always been satisfied with their service. We never needed anything beyond the usual tune-ups until today. I thought that having a service contract would give some kind of break/benefit if I needed a repair--but oh no-no-no. You do get 10% off the repair, but get ready for an outrageous bill regardless! WE needed a new capacitor. This was a repair that took all of 15 minutes. And the bill--$167! Try $80+ for the part and $80+ for the service call. That was after the 15% discount. By the way, now that we know that the capacitor is most often the problem, we will get our own and do the repair ourselves at a whopping $20 for a new capacitor--an expensive and valuable lesson. Wow what a mark up for a part!
Now for those who would say, "well that's the going rate" think again. When Gunther's did the tuneup on our furnace, we were told we needed a reinstall as the furnace and filter had not been installed properly. This was true, but they wanted roughly $3000 for the reinstall. We had another HVAC company that was also highly recommended give us a bid. It was less than half that price for the same work. Needless to say, we went with the second company and have not regretted it.
Gunther's is good but be prepared to pay A LOT!
