Very dishonest technician that charged an excessive amount for Freon that was not needed. You have to watch these guys closely or they will overcharge you. Need to stand right at your outside unit and watch them do the pressure check or one of their workers (Trey?) will tell you the unit is crazy low on Freon and charge you an insane amount to charge it. Anyone can come to your house, do a pressure test and then ask you to pay a high amount for Freon. That doesn't mean the problem is fixed. I got a lazy tech. that didn't want to work in the summer heat. Fortunately, my neighbor recommended another company that was able to fix the problem.

I've had both positive and negative experiences with this company, but my most recent encounter was quite poor. My A/C was maintaining 75 degrees, but seemed to be stay on too long. The technician put in a lot of freon, but failed to provide a written quote on what was causing the actual leak. I scheduled a "tune up", but when I took the cover off the outside unit, the condenser coil was filthy and had not been cleaned. My wife paid $435 for freon and no long term solution, that is not acceptable. If a unit is down 6.5 lbs. of freon then there are other issues and I was told by other companies that a unit down that amount would be blowing warm air or completely froze up. I called back on a Friday and was told the technician would call me back and I asked for a written quote. 5 days later, no calls, no quote and they just lost a loyal customer.

I had a different A/C company look at my system, they tried to sell me an entire unit. I then called Northpoint and these people really took care of us, not only did they come out right away but they found that the only problem with my unit was a capacitor. Saved me about 15,000 bucks.

Great service! AC went out and it was 100 degrees outside. Showed up in minutes and replaced the blower (the motor had fried) in a couple of hours. Thanks!
