Bought the system and had it installed with a 10 year warranty. System failed on 2 May and I called for an appointment on 3 May. GVEC can’t give me a checkout appointment till 13 May then who knows when the fix will be. I had another company look at it and the compressor needs replacing. The extended warranty is with GVEC only so I’m stuck. No offer to use a portable A/C unit. I guess GVEC could sub out the work if they are overloaded.

I've been without adequate heat since Saturday night. Larry came out this morning despite falling snow and dangerous driving conditions, and serviced my heating unit. Not only did he restore heat, but he removed an obsolete pre-programmed schedule that I could not override. I'm very happy with the
service I received today, and I would like to see Larry receive a shout out from GVEC for his stellar service and superb work ethic. I'm so fortunate to be a GVEC customer!

Purchased two (2X) $8+K systems with in a year of each other (2017/18) that are still under ten year warranties parts & labor. I called on 2 Jun 2021 to report a warranty issue that one of my AC units is not working and was told I wouldn't be able to have a service technician at my home until 22 Jun 2021 to check/fix inoperable AC unit. If I wanted a sooner reply I'd have to call after hours and pay $126+ emergency service fee to have a warranted equipment malfunction addressed. If I had know that the warranty response could take three plus weeks or more I would have went with another company that sells and services TRANE HVAC units. Not customer oriented, but it only took a few days for them to come to my home during summer months to sell and install the Bryant HVAC units that I currently have that's not working/cooling. I guess they got their priorities in place to sell you a questionable quality HVAC system, but have no urgency to fix/repair the same systems for paying customers who entrusted them to provide a quality product and service beyond purchase for the entire warranty period of ten years. I'd recommend shopping around first before deciding to use GVEC for new HVAC systems. My neighbors are experiencing the same issues with their units and the latent repair timeframes.

Really happy I called GVEC for a 2nd opinion on my A/C issue. The company that did the install refused to honor the remaining 6 months of warranty, and estimated over $2,000 in parts. GVEC found a bad capacitor that the original company didn't even test, AND GVEC was able to get parts covered under warranty. Overall savings to me? Over $2000. Yes, I've very satisfied with your service. On a separate call, I used GVEC to replace a burned out circuit breaker a month ago, and was also very pleased with the work and pricing. I plan on using GVEC now for all heating, A/C, and electrical work. Thanks!

The techs were wonderful. Showed up promptly at 8 AM and worked until done. Answered all of our questions and gave us a "complete tour" of new system and the Nest thermostat. Very please and happy we bought our new system from GVEC.

My rating should be 4.9 stars as I have a minority critique. I always get good service from GVEC's service people who come to my house. I'm on the maintenance plan to have my unit checked in the spring and again in the fall. For some reason I always have to call to have the maintenance done although I'm supposed to be on a list to have the service calls scheduled automatically by GVEC. This is a minor complaint as the maintenance guys are always on time and do a very good job. My unit is 6 years old and has never had a major problem so GVEC is doing something right! Right?

Had routine maintenance on our AC units. Replaced reme halo bulbs, filters, checked drainage, cleaned units, and ensured proper functioning. Price was comparable if I was to service the units myself and provide my own parts. Ryan was prompt, courteous, and did a great job. I’m glad I chose GVEC to perform the maintenance.

George Torres from GVEC performed a checkup and service on our home A/C system. He was very polite, honest and clearly explained what he was doing. Our condensation drain has gotten clogged. He cleared it and checked the performance of both the inside and outside equipment. We were very satisfied
