Daulton was extremely professional. He performed a thorough maintenance check and identified an issue with the p-Trap drain line. He expeditiously fixed the problem. AC system is functioning properly now.
Every time it breaks, they come out and fix it. Think this is the 4th or 5th time it’s broken down this year since they installed it. Very professional every time though. All that’s left is getting a quality unit. Hopefully one day…
GVEC I installed our new AC and heating system a couple months back. The product quality and the price were the best at the time. They have been very responsive however we still have some unresolved issues. But their willingness to work through is the reason why I give it four stars. I have also recommended them to some of my realtors, Real estate investors and friends.
I called GVEC to repair my failed unit. They dispatched a technician within hours. Adrian Martinez was the technician that came out to repair our AC unit. He was helpful and explained everything he was doing. Unit repair and covered under warranty. Extremely satisfied!

I have to echo what a few others have said. The people you will speak with on the phone are pleasant and the technicians are knowledgeable. However, should you need a repair you will wait, and wait, and wait. My unit is less than a year old and not working. After calling I had to wait about ten days for an appointment. During the appointment I was told a part needed to be replaced and the technician told me it could take another two days or two weeks to receive the part. After waiting two weeks I called. I was told by the person I spoke with she was going to "call the warehouse" to check the status and get back to me. Nope. So I gave it a few days and called again today. Again, the person on the phone was pleasant and helpful and said she would look into it. And she did. Shortly after speaking with her I got a call informing me that they have scheduled me for an appointment on July 8th. That's two weeks from today, nearly a month since my first appointment, which was June 10, and well over a month since I first contacted them. I don't know if this is the industry norm, but I'm guessing not.
Trying to transfer warranty of a one year old system into my name (New owner). This is made into a difficult process to prevent owners from transferring warranty. They know exactly when and where they installed system and should honor continued warranty. I still have to fill out more paperwork (some info I may not have) and include $50 in my mail in request. Cannot do it from service provider who installed "their" system. Just a step to try to get out of the warranty buy this provider. Update: 6 months later this heat pump stopped working (Champion system installed by GVEC). After multiple attempts over a period of 2 months the fan motor was discovered to be dragging and replaced. Wish I would have paid that $50 for the warranty transfer. But I did not have all the paperwork either since I was not original purchaser. Ugh.
Ryan was very polite and helpful. I appreciate him letting me know I can put different vents in to help the problem of air not coming out on both sides of the vents I have. It’s good to know my outside unit has a problem so I know why my AC runs for a long time with less than cool air coming out.
