This company is who my home warranty sent out. Was advised I need new coils and freon added as i was 3 pounds short. The man started to try to sell me on a new unit which made no sense to me because I had the AHS warranty. A couple of days later they called and said the repair was approved but needed to pay $2300 for freon and to "bring the system up to code". Advised the freon was $800 and $1500 to bring it up to code. I asked someone to call me about the "code fee" as I didnt think that was right, and guess what no one did. I declined and called around. I was quoted between $1800-$2500 to have other companies ( who were not associated with American Home shield) replace and add freon. I asked other ac repair people about the "Code" they were in disbelief stating the system is up to code you just replace the parts that went out. to recap I could get it fixed for less with out using a company that was charging an "strange up to code fee" and was apparently under the home warranty. Seems like they are charging the home warranty and then charging me extra as well. I'm calling the city to ask about this apparent "up to code" that none of the other ac repair men knew about. Very disappointed.

American Home Shield (warranty company) assigned my repair to this company. Their tech came out and was completely unprofessional. Reached out to the office and the lady was sarcastic and aspersing.

If customers aren’t satisfied with your company, it’s tempting to blame it on how they don’t understand your business or your products. But true accountability lies only with you, as Jobs, the late cofounder of Apple, notes succinctly. If customers aren’t happy with some part of your customer journey, don’t make excuses—just take responsibility and then fix it.

I suggest the ownership record calls for customer service and training purposes. My experience with this company was horrible and I reached out to share my experience and this company's owner and the DO NOT care or value customers or their experience and is completely focused on how to make extra $$ on one transaction rather than customer experience or satisfaction.

Excellent service start to finish. Thanks to the team of professionals who got my heat restored. Communication was excellent from Amy & Lori about scheduling. John is an expert at repairing older units. He's worked on both the inside & outside units of my home keeping everything running very well.

I called Cote's late on Friday night of the Labor Day weekend after returning from a long vacation. My expectation was that it would be Tuesday before they would show up (who wants to work on a holiday weekend, right?) Not only did Amy answer the phone (no recording!) but got me a tech for arrival first thing Saturday morning. Robert arrived and immediately diagnosed the problem as a bad fan motor in the attic blower, something the highly TV advertised company couldn't do and, in fact, told me I needed a new unit and furnace! Glad I called a reputable, reliable, honest, highly knowledgeable company (meaning Robert although I'm sure all their techs are good). One last thought, if you didn't make Cote's your first call, make sure they come out to give you a 2nd opinion. Cote's saved me over $18,000. You can email me if you want to know which company said I had a dead compressor.
The tech had to come back and back a slight adjustment on their initial repair which took about 15 minutes. He was here first thing the day after I called. These guys really know their business and I highly recommend you consider their service. They are straight shooters.

Don’t waste any time Be very careful before you call them for any AC service. They quoted a fixed price and I had booked and confirmed it with them even hour before technician came. I waited Saturday morning and he just doubled the price after coming in. I called the customer service and told them this is highly unprofessional as I had the fixed price. They just said they did not care and I can get other service which I will. But they are simply waste of time and energy. So please be careful.

John gave us very good service and made suggestions that we will definitely consider for the future. We have had several different technicians from Cote’s over the last few years, and all have been very professional and we have been pleased with all of them. I especially like their responsiveness when we have had a problem. Most of the time it has been same day service, or if they were really busy, next day service. This is really appreciated when it’s 100 degrees outside and your AC is not working.
