Christianson was the dealer that installed my A/C system when our house was being built, so I've gone back to them for service and repair. Our upstairs A/C stopped working a couple weeks back and we contacted their emergency line and was given a date 4 days out. I get it, that they're busy, but aren't they always busy during the summer?? Anyway, the guy shows up, very late, and I really had to work to get him to just check out the system. I felt like he was pushing me to buy a new system based on a couple of answers from me, before he'd even checked things out. Well it takes some work and I finally get him to check things out. Important to mention that I had spoken with customer service several times during the week, looking for cancelations that we could squeeze into, and never once did they mention a cost. I just thought the guy would give me a quote. Anyway the guy checked the outdoor unit, came back in and said, you probably have a leak, don't know where it is, can't tell me what my best option is, just giving me all of the things it could be. Anyway, he decides to go up in the attic, comes back down and said I had a confirmed leak and that I owed him $359 for the appt. Bear in mind he's fixed nothing, cleaned nothing, no refrigerant or supplies used, nothing. I explain to him that there's no way I'm paying for the trip fee of $99 because I was never told there would be one. He then calls me a liar and after a further unpleasant exchange leaves without providing me a quote. He did tell me that the part I needed was under warranty, and gave me a verbal quote. I later found out that the part was NOT under warranty. Stay away from these guys--plenty of other reputable companies out there.
They were the plumbing company contracted to have my house built by DR Horton. The toilet had a huge leak. my water bill came out to over $400. I called. No answer the first time. I attempted to "fix" it and only brought the water bill down to $180. I finally got in contact with them. They sent someone out to fix it. I have been trying to get a form to provide San Antonio Water System (SAWS) It took them months before I could get the letter. Also The woman who answers the phone, I think she is the owner or related to the owner because she has the same last name is very rude.
Johnny and Jesus have been very helpful as far as the convenience of them coming to help me and my family with our water heater problems. They took time to explain and troubleshoot the issue in a superb manner. Thank you so much for coming out you guys! You were amazing!
When it came time to replace our AC I shopped for price, make, timing, and reputation. Christianson carried Carrier and was at a reasonable price (never buy lowest) but most importantly they had a stellar reputation. Been around doing this for over 50 years. They are always on time and professional.
This company is bottom of the barrel with customer service. They did the plumbing for my home. When I called them with a question about items they installed. The woman cackled and said "We can send someone out to check for $89 to start". So they want me to pay them to search and find something they installed? Zero customer service. Clearly they do not keep records of installs and repairs they themselves do. So not reliable. Do not bother unless you want to continue to pay them for their lack of professionalism and poor management.
I needed to replace a corrugated metal pipe on my water softener for a slow drip. I couldn't find the piece I needed at Lowes or Home Depot as everything is hard to get right now, so I called Christianson plumbing. It took 4 days for them to "fit me in". Then they charged me $245 to replace the tubing that probably cost $15 and were at my house less than 10 minutes. I feel they abused the situation so blatantly and unabashedly. I only called them at the recommendation of a friend. What a mistake! BEWARE AND GET AN ESTIMATE AHEAD OF TIME.

They came out immediately and replaced our entire system at a very competitive price and in record time. They do our spring/fall service every year and are extremely reliable, honest, and efficient. I can always count on them to provide an honest assessment, without trying to upsell or price gouge. I recommend them to everyone.
I called Christianson because my toilets started to bubble, my shower and tub were full of water! I started to panic! When I called the dispatcher, she was kind and understanding. She said she would send Pablo and Johnny today after 4pm. It was already 1pm when I called. The guys called ahead to let me know they were coming and we're extremely professional. They went above and beyond for me. Evening asking several times if I needed anything else before they left. So if you ask me... Would i recommend these guys? Yes! I felt like they cared. Thank you Johnny and Pablo!
Jose and Pete have done a great job on two separate service calls. They are very professional and courteous technicians. I plan to utilize Christianson Plumbing and Air for years to come, great company.
