Altruistic AC & Heating

We needed our A/C system checked as it's quite old and began making odd noises. Altruistic was very responsive with setting up an appointment time soon after we reached out. The technician showed up exactly when they said they would (even sending a text when they were en route). The tech carefully explained everything that looked worn or in need of repair and we were given a no-pressure itemized quote. Having used other big-name A/C & Heating companies that utilize high-pressure sales tactics and sleazy, hidden pricing schemes to make up for their huge TV and radio advertising expenses, we were pleasantly surprised with Altruistic's honest and transparent way of doing business.

This company made my day, my AC quit working in this weather and I called Altruistic. Les managed to give a weekend appointment. He had two of his techs come out on a Sunday morning to diagnose and fix my unit. It turned out my condenser fan motor had gone out and needed to be replaced. They were very professional, fast and in less than two hours my AC was working and they gave me a very reasonable price, especially for a last minute weekend call. I highly recommend Altruistic, I am very satisfied with their service.

Altruistic was a pleasure to work with. Pre-service communication was great, using easy text and emails. My technician Luis showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. He showed me pictures of exactly what he saw and made realistic recommendations to extend the life of my equipment without being pushy or overpriced. I’m looking forward to working with Altruistic moving forward!

We just bought a house built in 1996 with the original HVAC. Altruistic serviced it, and then a couple days later, it stopped working. They came back out and fixed it, taking care of the charges for the second call for us. We know we’ll need to replace the unit within a few years, and we’ll be using Altruistic when we do. We’ve used them since Les was out on his own, before hiring other people and building his own company. He’s wonderful and honest.

Altruistic is very responsive and professional. Gerardo did his best to explain the issues and resolve as quickly as possible. Their texting communication about scheduling and technician arrival was very helpful. I even reached out after hours and received a response.

I would recommend Altruistic and use them again if needed.

My experience with Altruistic A/C was fantastic!
I had another company come look at my A/C just to tell me they couldn’t help. Luis came out an hour and a half after I called!! So fast!! He was very helpful and happy to answer my endless stream of questions. And after he left, my AC was blowing cold again! And the prices are very reasonable. 10 of 10 would recommend.

I couldn’t recommend them enough. I signed up for the membership which includes 2 maintenance visits a year and 10% off any other repairs or services needed. Within 10 minutes they had called me to set up an appointment which they had availability for that same morning! In less than an hour they were here and evaluating the assessment - Luis was great, very professional and quick!
