I would have given a five star. But some my fault for not reading the contract. They added concrete slab, and cinder blocks in the quote. About 600 dollar add on. Neither items was needed due to slab was already there. Like I said some my fault. But the service was very good and employees did a great job on housekeeping and very professional. I would highly recommended this company.
They recently replaced my defective AC call. That repair went seamlessly and they left everything as they found it. I asked him to come back and install a smart thermostat. I have. The technician informed me that the thermostat I provided would not work in my situation. He was very thorough explaining what type of thermostat I need for my house. I have used Brown AC for years and they’ve always given me good service.
The technician Cory Weber who came to my house was efficient, knowledgeable and polite. The office was another story. The attitude was like they were doing me a favor and would do so on their terms and time and I could like it or lump it. I had to call out a young lady on the very sharp tones she was using . A broken AC in triple digit weather and there wasn't an iota of compassion or any effort to expedite repairs. Rather it seemed like they took the longest route possible to get to the repairs. But for being sent by my warranty company I would never use them again.
Charles was super friendly and very helpful. He checked the thermostat as well as outdoor unit which had some loose things causing the noise. He even responded quickly to fix an additional issue that thermostat was causing and our AC is working wonderfully!

The Service Technician, Charles Guin, called to confirm, arrived promptly as scheduled, but most of all he was through, extremely knowledgeable, polite, and professional! I highly recommend using Brown Air Conditioning & Heating.
Our technician, Cory, showed up on time and was very pleasant. Also, he was able to get the issue resolved efficiently. He gave me a few tips on how to keep our system up and running well. He truly exemplified what excellent customer service is. It’s truly a blessing to work with a noteworthy company.
Charles was great! Capacitor went out and they came same day with easy fix. Also prepped for the eventuality of Unit going out from age and usage. Was able to discuss different options to be prepared for. Great company, would use again!
I was assigned this contractor through my Home Warranty company. The first time, I submitted a request on a Friday 4/28 called their answering service on Saturday 4/29 and was told that someone would call me back. I didn't hear anything back, I had to call them on Monday 5/1 and the earliest they could come out was on Wednesday 5/3 (5 days!). I was told that there was nothing wrong with my AC. My AC stopped cooling again on Monday 5/8, clearly the issue was not fixed. I called and the earliest they can get to me is Thursday 5/11 (19 days from original service request!). For a call back on a repair, it should be higher priority. I was told, "Even for emergencies, the earliest is Thursday". I would not recommend this company unless you can live with out AC for multiple days and have time for multiple calls. Stay away unless you have time and are comfortable in the Houston weather.
Charles and his trainee arrived in a timely manner, communication was great, troubleshooting and repairs needed were completed in a timely fashion, Charles was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely be using them again if other problems arise. Thank you Brown A/C & Heat.
