Office staff was great. Lira was very knowledgeable and friendly and got me the help I needed right away. The tech was on time and had my A/ C problem diagnosed and fixed in no time at what I thought was a very fair price. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Update 9/20: After a very positive first experience with Thayer over a year ago, I was disappointed when I contacted them again recently for a quote on another job. They came out to provide an estimate, but never gave one. I called 3 times to check-in over the next couple weeks, but it was always the same response; nothing yet, they’ll get back to me. Never did. They seem to have gone the same way as the other local service providers and moved away from what set them apart. Adjusting the review to reflect an average rating: good work, but no better service than other service providers around.

Needed to replace ducts in my house and add some AC equipment. Had all the big names in town out for estimates. Glad I ended up with Thayer. Communication was outstanding, the work was done (and done well!) and the price was reasonable. I’ve had to chase down too many contractors to get jobs finished, but not these guys. Solid choice if you need something done!

Thayer company is very professional. They give you the approximate time that they will arrive and they're within the time frame. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and very courteous. The home office receptionists are the best customer service individuals I ever had the pleasure to talk with. My AC went out on a holiday and a weekend. I call many companies but Thayer was the one that responded the fastest. Their technician made sure my AC worked and I didn't have to leave my home. Joining the Thayer family give me the confidence and the assurance that my heating and Ac problem will always be resolved no matter what day or time it is. What an awesome company. Another company came out & did minimal work on our HVAC system on a Saturday, said they needed to order a fan motor but couldn’t order until Monday morning. I contacted them Monday morning and they were waiting for information from Trane. Same story on Tuesday & Wednesday.

All this during the Heat-Maggedon!

Finally gave up & called Thayer Air. They arrived within 1 hour, diagnosed the problem (not fan motor), recharged system (low coolant), inspected system. Christopher was professional, thorough, patient, & polite.

I wanted to take a moment to let everybody know what amazing and courteous service I received after hours from our technician James at Thayer AC. My 89 year old father had arrive at our home in NB about and hour before our AC unit went out. This was around 4:00 pm on Friday July 3rd. Not only was I worried about my elderly father but my wife is dealing with some major hot flashes, if you know what I mean ladies. So, needless to say I was feeling a bit stressed. I contacted Thayer AC, who is literally less than 2 miles from our home, at 4:30 pm and ask if they could possibly have someone out. The lady who I spoke with said they did have a tech available and that she would send him our way. After a little misunderstanding and no word from the technician for over two hours, I called back checking to see if something went wrong. I found out that the James, our tech, was help up on another job in SA. He did arrive around 8:30 but was absolutely the most humble and apologetic young man I have ever encountered in the service industry. Not only was he able to resolve the situation within a short period of time, but because he understood the situation I was in with my father, he discounted the cost of my service call because of the delay. I‘m in the risk management business and work directly with builders and contractors nationwide and it gives me great pride when I witness a company that is committed to doing things right. Customer service, in so many companies, has taken a back seat to profitability. Thank you to the owner and all the employees of Thayer AC who stand on the principle of “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. For only then can we see a real change in our lives, businesses, and our world.
