The person who came was very personable and explained things well.
We were charged $89 and change for him to come, test our older system for low freon and confirm to us, yes, it's a bit low, and no, they can not charge it up again because that's against the law to recharge it more than twice.
Then we were presented with an estimate of over $13K to install a new system.
I did some research and admit, I did not read ALL of the EPA regs. Did not see anything about it being illegal to recharge a system with less than 15 pounds of freon. If anyone can point me in that direction, I'd appreciate it and will have learned.
We called someone else and they put exactly one pound of freon in. That HVAC guy said it's not necessarily time to replace yet, but if we did it would be under $8K.

I understand the fee for checking the system.
About recharging the system, I was told by Justin 'the EPA kind of strangles us on those things. I can't afford a ten thousand dollar fine.' Nothing was said about policy.
The lower rating is because I felt we were not told the truth about the EPA fine.
Our system is old and does need replacing. I did feel as though we were being told it would have to be now.

No complaints. They installed my unit. I pay an annual fee for 2 maintenance checks per year

We've had such an awesome experience working with Top Gun! Everyone is so professional and our new system is wonderful! The ductwork looks amazing and they cleaned everything as though they were never there! In an age where customer service and integrity in business is waning, they are still doing it right!!!

Response was very quick was able to come out same day. The service person Justin was very professional, compassionate, and trustworthy. He tried to help me as much as possible. He was very understanding of my situation; return to the house after leaving just to tell me his boss would call me the next day to see what he could do to help me or work with me. More to come after I get a unit installed. Super super Happy!

Jon and Roland were awesome! Prompt, professional and took the time to educate me on my system. My units hadn’t been serviced since my house was built in 2014. They needed to be completely stripped down, cleaned, serviced and put back together. These guys know their craft! Highly recommend! I will definitely use them again!

Update December 2022: we moved to an older house that has had various HVAC challenges. We knew exactly whom to call. Jon and his team have been out a few times to help diagnose and fix problems. They continue to be prompt, responsive and professional. Most importantly they get the job done right. Thank you for being a fantastic local business. Had spring service done. Asked what was included. Technician was not aware of what was included. His service was fine once we were past that. He even offered to come back if units could not handle heat for free.

Manager called back after review. He seemed to think there was a miscommunication on my part. It was really between his service people about what was in the service package. He said twice he was worried about his reputation.
