Last year on 9/9/2021, we had issues with our A/C and we had a home warranty who uses this company so they were dispatched to assist. Upon review of the system we had at the time, it was necessary that we purchase a new unit which we gladly did. This is where the crazy began. The guy showed up after 9pm that night by himself to install it. He was here until around 3am on a Thursday night. Due to the fact the guy was by himself he dropped the attic unit down our stairs in the garage breaking them. It was loud and we couldn't sleep due to him working in our attic by our bedroom. It took forever for them to come and repair not replace the stairs he broke and when they did, they came and took off the bottom portion and fashioned new steps to the end of our attic stairs which do not align correctly with the other steps. The whole thing should have been replaced but that was not an option. Our steps were fine prior to this but now we have steps that are subpar for attic stairs. They were supposed to add a return in the hallway which they didn't do. They took forever to come out and correct that issue as well. Today we call because the unit is not cooling correctly and we were told they couldn't come out until June 16th. That is SIX days from today which is ridiculous since we are having 100 degree temperatures. It looks to me like if you sold this unit and guaranteed the unit, you could make it a priority to service the unit you installed before six days after we need service. This unit was installed on 9/9/21 which means it is less than a year old and I understand things happen when it comes to mechanical units but this is just crazy to expect a client who purchased a brand new system from you to wait 6 days for service of a unit that was installed 9 months ago. This company needs to honor their work and not make people wait extended periods of time for service of a unit they themselves sold, installed and guaranteed. I would definitely suggest not using this company. This whole event has been a nightmare and now we will have to have another company to come take care of what they installed. Their customer service is deplorable. I regret purchasing from this company and would never refer anyone else to use them in the future.

My HVAC system went out and had to replace it. As everyone knows that without an AC, this Texas heat is brutal. Long story short, install was not done properly. The install company used spliced into wires, threw together some grey putty stuff, left a mess everywhere, broke my old thermostat and didn’t seal things properly. I have been trying to contact them to come fix their screw up but no one wants to answer or return a phone call. Due to their negligence, I have to replace the carpet where my ac unit is due to constant water leaking and pay for a damaged thermostat. This is by far the worst experience and I am livid as this company should be trying to fix the issue and pay the damages caused by an improper install. I have had this unit less than a month. They are quick to get it installed but ignores when problems arise and refuses to own up to the mistakes let alone take responsibility. The state licensing department along with the BBB will be contacted and the proper paperwork will be filed so I can not only recover my money but help others that are going through similar issues as myself.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT use this company! You MIGHT save a few bucks but you will end up paying more in the end because you will have to have someone else come fix their mistakes. We had a new HVAC unit and 2 mini splits installed in July 2021. One of the minisplits quit working in December 2021 and throwing an error code. Have had several of their techs to come out to look at it. Most of them didn't have the tools needed to even work on a minisplit much less the knowledge to do so. One of the techs finally diagnosed the problem as an installation issue. Probably a simple loose valve letting the coolant leak out. Referred us to the installation department because it isn't a problem he can fix by himself (unit is on 2nd story). This was 4 months ago and I have yet to hear back from the installation department after calling and leaving multiple messages. They were quick to respond when we wanted to purchase new units but are unreachable when they need to fix their mistakes.

I was disappointed to read the reviews. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO USE THIS BUSINESS. I am going to report this to BBB. I was surprised that Efficient Air contractor came to Austin for the estimation and installation. I had a bad feeling because the contractor didn't have any company car. I didn't listen my instinct feelings. I went ahead and accept their company to install new AC, duct and etc because they could come the next day while other AC companies were not available for a couple of days.

The installation team was two men with two young teens. They were not fluent speaking in English. The teen boy tried his best to communicate with us. They used the nail to the door hinge instead of the screws. They installed the wrong thermostat. The contractor told me that he would come back with the correct one. Same goes for the Reme Halo. They installed it without making sure that it is working. It is not working. Apparently, it is not connecting to the transformer. We have tried to contact the contractor. He didn't reply to us back. It is really bad business. Do NOT invest your money with this COMPANY.

I have given this company every chance possible but you can go read some of the reviews and start to see a pattern. First off, they don’t answer the phone in any kind of timely manner if at all. It always takes at least 10-15 mins on hold before you can talk with anyone if they even answer. Second, I have a 4-year maintenance contract that came with my new HVAC they installed. They have no-showed me numerous times now. I’ve been trying since March to get spring maintenance done and four appointments later, no-showed or cancelled on me. I’m told today they are done with spring maintenance until November. This comes from “upper management”. When I ask to talk to them, nope. There is no one else to talk to. No numbers to call, no email, no resolution. Now check below if the “owner” even responds, they will say since they don’t have my address they can’t help me and to contact them to resolve it. Not smart to put my address on here guy! And if I call you and they actually answer, they will tell me you said that spring maintenance is done until November. I’m really frustrated and you all are a terrible company. No customer service at all and if you want people to schedule repair or installations, you have to answer your phone. Good luck to you but I’m done with this.

The absolute worst company I have EVER did business with in my lifetime, I am in my mid 50s and have dealt with alot of companies. There is absolutely no service after the sale!!! I wasted 2 Saturdays waiting for the service technician to show up.-5 stars if that's possible. Keep in mind I try to schedule a month or so in advance . When Samantha reschedule my appointment for the third time ,
She assured me that I would be the first appointment for 04/16/22. Needless to say the technician never showed.
