I highly recommend Comfort Star! They replaced both my outside unit and the evaporator coils for a very reasonable price. Habib and his team delivered on time and the quality of the work was excellent. They were honest about their recommendations and gave me different options based on my needs. I also appreciated the detailed post-job inspection to ensure that everything was working well. I plan to stay with Comfort Star from now on.

Edgar Alvarado has been our technician and he has always been honest, prompt, efficient and courteous. Comfort Star is a quality Air Conditioning company who does an outstanding job. I requested them for a consult on a replacement condenser unit because they had been so fair, flexible and professional with a neighbor that was out of country and needed his AC repaired after the compressor went out in his upstairs unit. In addition, a tech that had worked for them a few yrs ago had repaired my downstairs condenser after 3 techs failed to diagnose the problem appropriately [I had a home warranty]. Shane explained the issue with my new unit and what needed to be repaired, along with my options for types of AC units. After choosing a two stage unit, they installed it in one day and cleared out an attic area that had been a mess (old units placed too close together, poorly constructed ductwork, venting that was not even close to code, etc). The techs were very knowledgable (60+ yrs experience in AC between the 3 of them). Habib agreed to generous discounts and the price for the install was very fair, and he tacked on a 2 yr service agreement. Please consider hiring them for your major AC repair/ install. You will not regret it!

I highly recommend Comfort Star. We are new to the area and needed significant AC work done to our home (new AC, new furnace, replace ductwork). We had 3 estimates and Comfort Star provided a complete and detailed estimate. The Comfort Star Team showed up on the scheduled day and completed the work in a timely and efficient manner. They were extremely clean and very professional. If you need AC work then you will not be disappointed with Comfort Star.

Great service at a great price! The owner was very responsive to my request for a quote to repair/replace the coil in the evaporator unit at my house. He showed up the same day to inspect and did his best to schedule the repair for the next day which is pretty impressive given the amount of AC repair jobs in Houston after hurricane Harvey! I’ve been having a/c issues for over a month now and have had horrible luck using my home warranty. The company they sent out has been a total waste of my time (3 visits).

I called Comfort Star to get a second opinion even though my home warranty doesn’t work with them and have had exceptional customer service so far! Zach came out and fully explained what he was doing and allowed me to ask questions while he diagnosed the problem. He was kind enough to stay while I contacted the home warranty to see what other options I had in the event I had questions for him.

Although my issue hasn’t been resolved, Zach reassured me they would make sure I was taken care of correctly regardless. I would definitely recommend using Comfort Star to anyone looking! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were very pleased with the service from Comfort Star in response to a condensate leak from our AC unit. Habib, the owner, gave us reassuring advice over the phone and recognizing the urgency, we got an early service appointment. Zach, their technician proved to be very skilled, and in the two visits he made to address the problem he came on time and we were impressed by his professional, courteous manner. We will surely contact Comfort Star for our future AC service needs!

Over the years of being a homeowner, we have had too many air conditioning companies do work and renovate our heating and air conditioning. The worst of these being the company that does plumbing as well. Comfort Star is a specialist in A/C and heating only! If you want to get the runaround and lousy service go elsewhere, because here they are by far the most pleasant,professional,clean,polite and highest quality workmanship any where. Comfort Star has serviced my aging AC units for several years. When it was time to change a unit out, I got nothing but excellent service from comfort star. They were upfront about the cost and what the work entailed. They changed out my unit just as we planned out and helped out 8 months later when I needed their support after a home sale inspection. I will continue using their service in my new home.
