My A/c broke down and found Comfort Star online for a/c repair in Houston Tx. The tech came on time, and was very polite. I liked the most that he was very honest on repairs needed. I have used different companies and I think Comfort Star gives great service at a affordable price. Would highly recommend!

Called my appliance warranty company this am for our a/c and Comfortstar was at my house within hours. On a 100 degree day. Bert diagnosed the problem quickly and had it fixed in no time. Great guy and explained everything that was going on. I signed up for their annual maintenance plan on the spot - they visit 2 times per year and inspect, clean, and evaluate both the a/c parts and heater. Worth the $125 for the both visits. Can't get someone out for less than $75 per visit.

We have been with Comfort Star AC for 8 years and they are responsible by responding to the calls and the problems that we have. Habib is one of the best managers that we have dealt with. He is so considerate, understanding, and he will go out of his way to solve the situation. Comfort Star has provided us with professional and knowledgeable service for five years since we bought our house. Our gas heat and AC units have both been installed by Comfort Star. In addition, we have an annual agreement with them to check and service the AC and heating system. Recently had our 60's era air ducts replaced at a reasonably competitive price. Very pleased with their work and owner's attention to detail and high quality of service.

The service experience with Comfort Star was professional, friendly and as personal as they come. My AC was starting to have issues after running in Houston's heat for over 12 years. After several conversations with the company owner and hours of online research, I decide to replace the AC with a new 14 SEER unit. I also decided to go with a unit that is half a ton larger than the old one because I wanted the best performance on hot summer days when I invite friends over for a home cooked meal. That was always something I tried to avoid because it was guaranteed to be a warm or even HOT gathering. The rep explained the technical details of several option and the cost benefit analysis helping me decide on what is best for my situation.

We planned this in early April before the summer heat makes it a suicidal mission. A few days before the appointment date I received a text message and an email reminding me of the date and time. I put the AC on a lower setting the night before to give the installers as comfortable of a temperature as possible. They arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule and proceeded to lay down protective layers of fabric to shield my beautiful wood floors from damage. And with three people on hand, they went straight to work. In 3 hours, the new AC was running and they took some time to test it. I then noticed that they were not happy with what they were seeing. After a phone call, they told me that the brand new until they just installed was showing inconsistent results. That worried me and I wasn't sure what my options are. But after calling the company owner, they indicated that this is a very unusual situation and that he ordered a new system to be sent to my house to replace the one that's giving the mixed results. That took four additional hours but after that, I saw the happy smiles on their faces when they connected their test device to the new unit.

Finally, they cleaned the area they worked in and got on their way. I'm sure they wanted to leave earlier but they stuck around and did the right thing by replacing what seemed to be a problematic unit. The owner told me that the faulty unit is going back to the manufacturer.

Thank you Comfort Star for such professional service. I will tell everyone I know to use your service based on this experience and that's why I am writing this review.

Called the guys to install a third thermostat/unit at my house. I had previously called a couple of other HVAC companies where they recommended changing the whole system. These guys actually recommended against it. Tweaked a bit and it's like brand new. Third thermostat works like a charm...

we were provided with comfort star through our home warranty program when we had an issue with our A/C in the heating up texas summer and a pandemic, Burt was an incredibly professional and prompt employee who deserves a massive raise for working in these conditions. our issue ended up being a loose wire and quick fix fortunately but Burt took the extra time to make sure the unit was functioning properly before leaving. will definitely recommend
