I'm glad I found this a very professional and trust worthy company. Not many around. My AC wasn't cooling. Different Company was stating I would need a few different parts including compressor. I called Airkool for 2nd Opinion and it turns out the only thing which was wrong with my AC was the thermostat was loosely connected and needed to be reset. It has been working for the past 2 months without any issues. Very satisfied - and I will recommend to all my friends. Great Work!!
Dryer repair. Misdiagnosed the first time stating that a vent cleaning of the house was necessary. We had that done and the dryer still did not dry the clothes. During the next inspection they finally admitted that the entire heating unit needed replacing. They stated how the part was readily available, promising a quick repair. On the day of the follow up appointment they called to cancel stating how they ordered the wrong part. They were not sympathetic or sincere in my inconvenience. I have 8 people washing with a non working dryer for over a month. I fired them and bought a new dryer.
AHS still using these clowns. Tried to confirm it was the same co from 2yrs ago and found my review got removed? Cant find it...anyways...AHS assigned them to repair my dishwasher in Nov. 2019. I still have all the emails. Here is the saga. Incompetent unprofessional unreliable service. I wouldn't trust them to fix a sandwich. 11/25/2019 AHS assigns AirKool 11/26/2019 Alfonso shows up. Pulls my dishwasher, looks it over, says it needs a part. So far so good. Nice guy, seems professional. 11/28/19 Alfonso returns. Wrong part. Reschedule. 12/8/19, appointment rescheduled. 12//12/19. Jose shows up. Orders a part. 12/18/19 rescheduled appointment. 12/19/19 Alfonso shows up again. Wrong part, but cleans the drain. 12/23/19 Alfonso again. Needs more parts. 1/15/20. Appointment scheduled. 1/16/20 Alfonso. Wrong part, not sure, still broken dishwasher. We are really good/fast at hand washing now though. 1/29/20, appointment scheduled. 1/31/20 Jose arrives. Still unsure why dishwasher broken. More parts ordered. 2/3/20 Alfonso again. Still broken dishwasher. After multiple not friendly calls to AHS, I got another service company, sears, out. 15min after the guy got to my house he confirmed my dishwasher was beyond repair and told AHS as much. week later, he delivered and installed my brand new GE dishwasher provided under AHS warranty. Super easy, very professional, no BS. AirKool sucks plain and simple. No good reviews, all terrible unhappy customers. STAY AWAY!!!
I wish I could give them negative star rating. These people are a contractor of AHS home warranty. Air kool website starts “Superior Customer Service” Wow that could not be further from the truth. In short... AirKool was called to fix my broken dryer. As I anticipated the part took 9 days to arrive. I specifically asked the technician just to let me know how long the part will take so if needed I could make arrangements on finding a temp dryer. As many of you know a house of five can generate some serious laundry. Not surprising but no call back which I kinda understand. Thats not his job and more then likely he was just trying to help. So on day 3 of no information I called not once but 3 times to their office. Just simply to ask “ hey, we are going into a weekend so if you guys aren’t coming out Friday let me know I will look at other options on getting a temp dryer in the house”. On the 3rd call I finally spoke to a live person. “Gloria” stated she would return my call with info. Guess what. No call back. 5 days later I get an auto text that says they will be out from 11 to 3. Guess I’m supposed to just wait around for airkool to bless me with their presence. I received a text stating that the tech is 28 mins away. I work 5 mins away from my house. The techs supposed arrival was 1:45 and I arrived at 1:46 so I was one minute late. No call, no attempt to contact me. Wow how’s that for customer Svc. I definitely would not recommend AirKool and I’m seriously considering canceling my AHS American home shield warranty also
As a side note I was telling a buddy about my troubles with getting my dryer fixed. Without me even stating the name of the contractor he says. “Hey the company fixing your dryer. Is it AirKool? “I laughed and said how do you know. He began to tell me the 20 min story of his AirKool debacle. Wow at least AirKool is consistently horrible at their customer service
Great service and very fast. My Ac unit went out and i just knew i would be days without it. But Air Kool Got us taken care of SAME DAY! highly recommended!!!
These people are so professional. They fixed my AC with no hesitation and no problems. The techs are very knowledgeable and prompt. They even installed my daughters AC with no hesitation.
Very unprofessional, they made a mistake on scheduling and then when I tried to fix it Gloria started screening my calls I had to use another phone to call her
This company has the absolute WORST customer service. They drug me through the mud for almost a month and the ignorant girl “Gloria” that answers the phone does nothing but leaves you on hold when you call-Let me rephrase that- leaves you on “forget”. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY LIE, CHEAT AND STEAL!!
