I was very pleased with the service we received from Abacus Plumbing. They came out on a Sunday, free of charge, to assess our water heater. Tony Carrillo was very professional, thorough, and he provided detailed information as to what the issue was. He was able to fix our heater within a couple of hours and it was very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend Abacus and will rely on them in the future. Thank you!

The job was the installation of two complete HVAC systems, except ducts. Whereas the crew that did the installation was OUTSTANDING, it is the installation of programable thermostats what triggers my low grading of the overall experience. I was expecting the installation of SMART THERMOSTATS, not the same programable type we already had with the old systems. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, I was given the run around, and to this date, three days after the installation, the thermostats were not replaced.

It’s a shame that ABACUS is taking such approach after we gave them over $21K of our hard earned money. I gladly will update the grading and comments when they resolve this matter to our satisfaction, if they do.

What otherwise was an OUTSTANDING service and value, unfortunately became diluted by the greedy attitude ABACUS has demonstrated this far.

High dollar service! My husband called the company for electrical work. Service representative over the phone said there is no charge for sending an electrician over to us. However, on the day the electrician was scheduled to come, we were told there is a 200 diagnosis fee even if we don’t use them. I have no problem for paying a diagnosis but this seems a big conflict with what they promised over the phone. Fine, we agreed to it. Then this electrician quoted us a 8000 dollar job. I’m not giving all details, but within the service we requested is to replace 8 switches that are a bit loose, the price for them alone is 1200. To me, this is ridiculous. Of course we did not use them. We found another electrician, guess what, the service we need cost less than 1000, replacing the switches are included with other service. Per Abcadus electrician, our electrical main panel has to be re-wired due to its an old house and cannot simply be replaced. My electrician called it BS and found replacement right away.

Julio was the perfect professional. He explained exactly what he was going to do and why. He knew that I was on a budget, so he gave me some options to help lower my costs, including allowing me buy my own toilet. In the end, I opted for the Abacus supplied toilet partly because of the warranty and partly because they would dispose of the old one for me. I will definitely call them again.

Nicolas was pleasant, punctual, tidy, speedy, and did a great job installing our attic water heater in today's extreme heat. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Miguel was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and attentive to my needs. i got the information I needed clearly and learned even more. Also, the lady that set up the appointment on the phone yesterday was all of the above as well. What an excellent first impression these folks left with me!

I needed a ceiling fan installed in one of the bedrooms. Vlad was in and out in an hour (this is with the fan in the box, disassembled, sad, and lonely on the floor when he came in). The fan is mounted beautifully - doesn’t wobble - and he put the remote holder to it up on the wall. Walked me through the settings on it & everything. My dog wouldn’t leave him alone, so he even stopped to pet him for a second so he would calm down. Lol.

Ac went out due to faulty breaker inside. Micheal came to diagnose the issue and found out our outside breaker box was wired out of code. The wires inside melted due to the faulty wiring and could of burnt the house down. Thankful they found it and fixed everything fast and professionally! Anthony came out the next day and put in a brand new breaker panel. Fixed our outside outlets as well since they weren’t gfi and explained everything in detailed. So happy with the professionalism and quality of work they did! I will definitely be using Abacus for all my home fixes. They went above and beyond to fix the problem and got my ac back up running. It’s true if you want it done right then go with them! Picture below is the new panel installed.

It was a great experience from the moment I called and talked to Ralph to Robert Zepeda who came an found the leak and fixed it. He gave us different pricing options varying from temporary to most permanent option. I was very impressed. I am switching my business to you guys. You rocked it!

Very efficient, quality work, Sammy Martinez quickly and accurately diagnosed my faulty capacitor for my Goodman system. Sammy took the time to answer my additional questions regarding my home builder grade system. Unfortunately he confirmed my suspicions about my system. It was a bad selection by home builder and bad layout. Not much can be done to improve with our causing significant expense on my end but it’s definitely something I’ll look at more closely when I buy my next home. Great service all the way around from Abacus would recommend 5/5 stars for repairs. They will be my first call going forward. Their responsiveness is good and pricing is competitive. You’re paying a flat fee for the techs time, their customer service, the technology (online scheduling, texting, tech location notification, etc.), the expertise and brand knowledge, etc. You pay for what you get, getting it right the first time and treated right is worth the money.
