Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical

Initially I called Abacus for a couple loose/flickering light switches in the house - I used the on-line appointment scheduler and got a text with a photo of the technician scheduled to come to the house for next day without any issue.

It turned out the electrical breaker panel was outdated, not up to code and not grounded properly. Journeyman Electrician Michael was able to identify additional problematic light panels/electrical outlets during his check and come up with an estimate (with a few coupons) for a much bigger job (upgrading the electrical panel and adding an outdoor fireman's breaker) with photos documenting these problem areas.

We were able to schedule for the electrical panel upgrade, with a lifetime warranty, for next day with Anthony. The upgrade with a fireman's breaker on the outside was done with great care and attentions to details --
unlike the previous breakers, the new outdoor portion of the electrical panel box was secured to the studs/sealed/secured. Anthony was very professional, friendly, and showed us the key upgrades as he worked in the garage and backyard. And he did replace all loose light switches and faulty outlets, for which I called scheduled Abacus in the first place. The visit ended with Anthony sending me photos of the repair/upgrade, some of which I attached to this review.

Overall, very happy with the services.

ABACUS is outstanding! One of our water heaters began leaking and company was coming in two days. ABACUS was wonderful (unlike another company). Chris came promptly, looked at our heaters, quoted a good price, and promptly began the work. Five hours later, we had new water heaters and hot water! Chris was the most professional installer I have ever encountered. He was knowledgeable, professional, and an expert in his trade. He explained the work, answered all questions, and was very friendly. I recommend ABACUS 100% and if Chris is your installer, you are in for a treat!

Money grab.

Our home was hit by the tornado that came through our community they were more concerned about charging a diagnostic charge than giving a quote so we could submit it to the insurance company. Making matters worse, I requested an appointment on their website, three days later called them and they made it a point pay us first then we will talk quote.

Sad way to do business.

Allen T came out to our house to inspect the problems we had been experiencing and was efficient, knowledgeable and very responsive. The team came out the same day to fix our family’s electrical issues and John A did a wonderful job - professional and great service! Overall our experience was wonderful and we will be using Abacus for any future needs.

Randy came out to replace a broken toilet with one I had already purchased and he was wonderful. He was respectful, kind, knowledgeable, thorough and kept me informed of all my options as well as the condition of my pipes and toilet. He went above and beyond fixing issues other plumbers had caused in the past. My new toilet looks much better than the old one because of proper installation. It was a great experience.

I had an emergency with a leaking water heater. Julio was phenomenal. He showed me everything about my water heater, explained everything, was kind and respectful. He fixed the job and then showed everything to me and explained the entire process very nicely. Peace of mind and excellence every time I use this company. Thank you Abacus.

We just purchased our home in 2021 home was built in 2013 and we found out after purchasing that the AC/Heater system was in bad shape so we ended up replacing the entire system with a top tier multi speed ac/heater system and it was a great investment!! Dehumidifier syster, multi speed AC that fluctuates to maintain whatever temp we set super quiet system and a cool touchscreen thermostat plus LIFETIME WARRANTY!!! Great investment everyone we have dealt with from Abacus has been amazing! On time professionals respectful very nice and informative. If you have ac or heater issues CALL THEM!!!

I recently had the pleasure of having Ramiro Lucio install an air conditioner in my home, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with his work. From start to finish, Ramiro displayed the utmost professionalism, expertise, and dedication to ensuring a flawless installation.
First and foremost, Ramiro's communication skills were exceptional. He promptly answered all my questions and concerns prior to the installation, providing clear explanations and guidance. He displayed an in-depth knowledge of air conditioning systems and took the time to understand my specific needs and preferences.

When it came to the installation itself, Ramiro's expertise was evident. He arrived at my home on time and came fully prepared with all the necessary tools and equipment. Ramiro meticulously assessed the space and carefully determined the optimal location for the air conditioner. His attention to detail was remarkable, as he took extra care to ensure the unit was securely mounted and aligned perfectly.

8 year old Central A/C stopped cooling and the coolant lines and compressor began freezing up outside. Miguel came out from Abacus and was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He identified the issue and gave me several options on repair. We inquired regarding a new unit, since the old was was out of warranty, and he was able to put together several options very quickly. I ended up getting quotes from several other companies in the area, but we ended up choosing Abacus for the price and parts and labor warranty which are 15 years.

Financing was easy, and they were out 8 am the next morning installing the new unit. Ricardo came out and was very pleasant and had the install complete by 5pm. Very happy with our experience, and the peace of mind that we have a 15 year warranty on the entire unit including labor.

I purchased a new Lennox variable speed complete A/C & heater from Abacus and let me tell you this thing rocks.

It’s so quiet and the “always on” system is very impressive. Never felt more comfortable.

The initial visit was with Tyler and he was very straight forward and honest with me even though they were though words to hear! That’s life right? He was a solid dude. I’d have a beer with him.

After the purchase Gabriel and his right hand man installed the complete system in about a a day. Let me tell you those men worked hard. I tried my best to keep them hydrated and given snacks! Every time I saw them Gabe had a smile on his face. He is going places and I hope he does good in life. Install was prefect and the craftsmanship was on the money.

Would absolutely use again and would request Gabe and his partner!!
