Complete rip-off! Didn’t charge to come over but the moment they pull out a tool, automatic 200! These Bozos tried to tell me that it would cost 2800 to get my unit running but I’d always have issues with it unless they reconfigure everything and that would cost 16000! Yea you read that correctly SIXTEEN THOUSAND! I just had another certified HVAC guy come out and he only charged $140! Do not waste your time or your money with these clowns! They’re all about making huge profits and not for the working man! Don’t let them get you!

ABACUS is only worried about adding line items to an invoice. I just had someone leave my house who told me they *had* to replace an AC blower motor, even though that's not actually the problem, because it "might" become a problem later instead of just replacing the blower wheel that was actually causing the problem. The motor adds an additional $1600 to the total bill so it's clear why they want to add it. Complete waste of my $100 diagnostic fee and more importantly, my time. Stay away from this business.

My only request was to check freon levels on my ac at my home. It was cooling but seemed a little low. My tech arrived and he mentioned various packages and told me how expensive freon was. He then told after I practically begged him to hook up gauges to see if freon level was low. He verified it was then proceeded to tell me he couldnt add freon because it was too cold outside and wouldn't be accurate. Outside temp was 62 degrees. I asked him if he could estimate based on temp and he said no. So basically nothing was done after took hour off of work and no help from this guy. Now my question in addition to why they cant estimate freon levels and he said he can come back when its 80 degrees and can get it right. Not happy was total waste of time and if this is true cant add freon when its 62 degrees then why does google say 55 degrees and higher its possible. They could have at least told me this before I made appointment.

Allen Taylor was more than AMAZING! I had a whole situation and he went above and beyond for something he did not have to help me with. He was able to address and confirm other problems with my Electrical Panel and resolved in a blink of an eye. I am forever grateful and thankful for individuals like him.

Not sure about the actual service, but the free estimate seems like a predatory tactic for trapping customers, getting people to make appointment with misleading information about service fee and not disclosing the expensive service/diagnostic fee until the day of the appointment.

I made an appointment for eletrician when I was told there is usually no service fee for visits. However, when I called the night before the appointment to check on something, I was finally informed of the $199 for diagnostic fee. And their explanation was that they would have eventually called me the day of the appointment to tell me about the fee. By this point, it was going to be difficult to find another company last minute, but I still cancelled.

I'm not sure if I was an exception, but they should really be more transparent about service/diagnostic fee from the beginning.
