Northern Tool + Equipment

I bought my husband a lime green brush to wash his truck with. It's supposed to connect to the hose. Putting it on...it fell apart and broke and squirted water everywhere. Waste of money!!!

Called and asked about the price on a pressure washer extension pole. Gave me the sales price over the phone which happened to be on clearance. Get to the store only to find out from the assistant manager it is not on clearance and was told the wrong price over the phone which would not be honored. Will think twice before shopping here again!

This place is the ULTIMATE TOY STORE! Unlike Harbor Freight, they sell good quality merchandise at great prices! I always enjoy my trips to Northern Tool and Equipment!

My wife refers to this place as my favorite place to shop...
I correct her by saying that it is ONE of my favorite places to shop.
I like to shop around on-line and do the research before choosing the best-fit (in regard to tools). I have chosen the Northern Tool brand without regret for many purchases such as welding mask and gear , compound mitre saw, air compressor, castors, specialty tools, etc.
I recommend viewing their inventory on line first (easy to use ), look and/or ask for their coupons that apply. They often have $20. ,$10. , and $5. off total purchase.
I do Not recommend purchasing gift cards ! Been the recipient , Huge Hassle !

It is a nice store for tools and trailer related items. It is not a "hardware" store. Good selection of air compressor, power washers, sprayers, pumps and such. As expected there are hand tools, power tools and lawn equipment.

I bought a truck rack online, went to the store, on Sunday, my only day off, they said I have to call Monday thru Friday, get a code and being the stuff back. Really bad experience. I had an accident and I can't carry stuff.

Pay CASH! If you make a return on a card. It takes them several days to refund. But their charges appear immediately. Poor business practice for an otherwise great place.

Seriously a joke! The manager is a joke! Don’t buy any warranty from them because it’s pretty much an scam... they will replace an unit under “accident” but not warranty out defective parts and wants the customer to pay for it
