Northern Tool + Equipment

It was difficult to get one male employee to help me. He put as much effort as he could into giving me as little information as possible concerning the question I asked him that had to do with that store's merchandise... Only to be sent over by another employee, to help me anyway!!!

Four other employees who helped me with other things were very helpful without hesitation.

That was my first time ever being in a Northern Tool & Equipment store.

Rude, uneducated employees. Store is never fully stocked & and everything is manufactured in communist China. I'd rather cobble my tools as needed from scrap found on the roadside.

Extremely disappointing attitudes and customer service. The manager refused to come out of the back to help the cashier. After waiting for 20 mins in line with ONE person in front of me and hearing the manager refusing to help, I set down my $700 worth of goods and told her that I will be purchasing elsewhere. Tried following up with customer service on the phone, got put on hold for 20 min, then told that I needed to be transfer to another department- in which the call then hung up on me. Called back, and still on hold for now another 8 minutes. DO NOT SHOP HERE

Called received a message they are open but they could not answear the phone currently. I got in my car and went down. They where closed. I did knock on the door and they said they where closed currently i told them thier amswearing service said they where open and they blamed in on corporate.

These people are lying about being open and getting lot of people to travel down to thier store in unsave conditions they should be criminal y charged in my book.

Employees all over not to much in to helping customers after having to look around to find one that wasn't too busy stocking was able to.help.me they didn't know if they had what I was looking for ask another employee they didn't know either so I just left they had a lot stuff just lacked the knowledge where there product was that was my first visit to here probly won't go back here any way

Hope that you find what your looking for at the store on your own. Any one to help is hard to come by, but when you do, they provide results.
People are knowledgeable and know what to do. It's just finding one. What ever you do....Don't come to the distribution center for a will call. A forklift driver lift driver was more help than the EMPTY! will-call office. Come one people get it together. Only buy in store provided you can find it, or are lucky enough to be offered help.

A lot of quality stuff here. Best deal in town on batteries of all sizes, especially AA and AAA for the holidays; I stock up every year.
