Store personnel needs to do a better job of communicating with their customers about warranty coverage on items being repaired. If I would have been notified up front that my repair was most likely not going to be covered by the warranty, I would have bypassed the repair shop and just replaced the carburetor myself for far less $$.

I was in the store for a good 30 to 45 minutes looking for a specific tool two employees walked by me didn't say a darn thing but helped other customers. I was all over the store trying to find this one particular tool and a young man by the name of Edgar asked me if I needed some help and he noticed that I was all over the store. I told him what I was looking for couldn't find exactly what I was looking for but got something else I think that Edgar deserves to be an assistant manager

This was the 1st time in a long time that I had visited this location. This location is always clean & organized There were plenty of people walking around to ask if people needed help locating items. It's ALWAYS so much to look for & the prices are reasonable. Of you can't locate in store, try going online & it's usually available.

Good prices, clean store, nice workers but had problems with getting a minor payment issue fixed. I bought a big fan in their online storefront and had it shipped to the local store. The fan went on sale before it arrived for $5 less than I paid so I asked to have the new, lower price applied to the sale when I picked it up. In other words, give me the $5 back that I overpaid. They finally did, but it took right at half an hour.

Poor Customer Service!
Drove 45 mins one way to purchase a Stihl backpack blower which showed in stock on their website and was told that they showed they have (2) in their system but couldn’t find them in the store. They then suggested I buy a different model that was comparable and managed to produce a unit. Then someone else from the store walked up and said that they couldn’t sell it to me because it was a “store unit” even though it was brand new in an unopened box. Pretty much a garbage experience from start to finish. 1 1/2 hours of my life wasted trying to buy something from this retailer that they clearly are not interested in selling. Seems like a flawed business model to me. I won’t be back.

I believe they must have new employees from all the bad reviews, as we had such a great experience yesterday. We ended up there cuz Harbor Freight was beyond awful/joke awful/ are we on candid camera awful. We don’t normally shop at either, but will be back to Northern Tool in Grand Prairie. We were greeted & helped & offered additional help. The place is clean & well organized. Great job Northern Tool!
