ARACELY HERRERA

From the dispatchers at the office to the tech that came out to diagnose my unit and the sales team that helped me understand what our home needed and to Jose and his crew that are very fast and efficient. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! If I could give you more stars I would. My home has never felt this comfortable.

Reggie and Mike were friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, and offered very helpful advice when asked. Reggie even offered and took down multiple wasps nests around my front door area. Greatly appreciated!! And way above what they’d come to do. So grateful for their simple acts of kindness. I will definitely ask for them specifically for my next maintenance check.

Lex Air have been servicing my AC and heating system for 8 years now. The service is excellent in every single direction. They have been able to keep up the quality of both the technical work and the customer service. Only moderate price increase. Over the last couple of years they used to send to my house Steven. Perfect work. This year the June service was performed by Reece - very good work as well. I would definitely recommend Lex Air.

Reggie was AWESOME! Professional, polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.cannot say enough about this company, they have been here helping us three different times for different reasons and EVERY tech they have sent has been very professional, courteous, respectful of our home and advised me of exactly what they have done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Update: had a lot of trouble with a new system but they went out of the way to make sure I was taken care of. Several fixes and home visits along with the most responsive customer service. New AC was a hassle but felt taken care of as well as treated correctly. Mistakes happen but how companies handle them matter and this was the best way to do it. Updated from 2 to 5 stars for the work and attention to detail the team has to make sure everything is right.

The experience was good, the tech did the work and fixed the issue. My only concern was the price was too steep for the job that was done. Wasn’t reasonable in my opinion. Would be 5 stars but price plays a big role for me.

Totally dissatisfied. In addition to the service call charge, you asked me for $450 to do a sniffer test on a 3.5 year old top of the line system you installed, and which your tech found to have lost a large percentage of its Freon. You won't standby your own installation. I sent the tech away

The condenser fan motor on this unit has damaged bearings due to the fan blade being unbalanced. I have reported it several times but it has not been replaced. The bearings are making a noise and it's getting worse. I need this motor and blade replaced before it fails and possibly damages the compressor.

Lexair has the most professional responsive staff, Christy Dittman is an AMAZING rep. I called to have someone out to service my AC and Christy was able to provide me a same day booking. I am so thankful that Lexair exceeded my expectations. Please keep up the good work.

I called Lex Aire when my system stopped cooling on a Saturday because they had bought out the HVAC company that originally installed the unit (who I loved and trusted). My unit was running an error code that read "Start Circuit Open." A quick google search of our system told us that if restarting the system didn't fix the error, it was likely a problem with the capacitor - but neither my partner nor I are experts so we called in the big guys.

Lex Air charges $180 to come out "after hours" or weekends - which is slightly above average. Perfectly acceptable if the service is also above average. When a technician came out (and he was very nice, honestly), his first concern was that our outdoor unit needed to be cleaned. He tried to sell us on a $300 cleaning (or a $500!! deep clean), which is a little outlandish considering I have since learned that using a hose to get the vents and fans will do you just fine. No problem, we worked it out and hosed it off with his direction without being charged.

When that didn't fix the problem, our technician addressed the system inside the house. He told us that our TXV valve needed to be replaced and it would cost a whopping $1650 if not under warranty. Ya'll... that's crazy big money, but since he's the HVAC guy we trusted at least that he diagnosed the problem correctly. Because it felt crazy, I later reached out to several other services and google who all confirmed that a TXV replacement (part and labor) is normally somewhere in the $400-750 range - maybe 1000 if you've got a fancy system.

So I'm feeling crazy and knowing I'll have to look around, but in the meantime my sweet technician says he's given us a temporary fix that hopefully lasts the weekend and that the office will get back to us to schedule on Monday. Fair enough. Except the temporary fix only lasted an hour and we've got two days of 98+ sunny weather ahead of us. We can't get anyone to come out with a TXV valve before Monday and can't schedule with Lex Air until they confirm the warranty status of the part.

Monday rolls around and we don't hear anything from Lex. We call them around 9 or 10 and they tell us that since our system was installed by the company they acquired, it's taking a while to locate us in the system. It's 90 degrees in the house and we still can't confirm that they're coming. At 11:52 they send an email estimate for the TXV replacement under warranty - now $880! Still higher than average, but better! But we have to call back and schedule and, when we do, the scheduling guru is unavailable and the woman on the line is telling us they'll call us back "with a date" - date?? I thought they were going to come today!

So! We find another company to come out. Their technician asks us 3 times if the "Start Circuit Open" error has been showing the whole time - we confirm that it has. He's looking a little perplexed. He checks everything... finally he says it's the capacitor! Not the TXV! (Should have listened to google!) Total cost of replacing the capacitor and re-connecting Lex Air's "temporary fix" was $230. That is SO REASONABLE. Especially compared to Lex Air.

The cherry on top is that a little more than 2 hours after our AC is fixed, I finally get the scheduling call-back from Lex Air at 3:00 and they tell me that they CAN'T honor the manufacturer's warranty after all and WILL have to charge $1650! WILD!

All in all, this company misdiagnosed my problem, would not communicate with us in a timely manner despite knowing our situation, and quoted us prices that are more than double the industry standard. I unfortunately cannot recommend their services.
