I called and someone was out to my house the same day. The fix was completed the next day! Everyone I interacted with was polite and helpful. Hopefully, I won't have any future issues but if I do, I will certainly call Superior Air Repair!

If the name of your technician is JASON, STAY AWAY. Besides looking sleazy and like a junkie, he checked out my heater and said I would likely need a new one (about $6,000) but he could potentially fix it but the part itself was $500 so with labor it would be more. He recommended I just buy a new unit and used scare tactics to get me to avoid the repair by saying since it's an old unit it may not function correctly and by law he would have to disable it so that I could never use it until it's replaced. I told him to send me quotes for both options. Here's where it gets juicy.

I said I would likely go with the repair and that I would pay the $95 diagnostic fee that I wasn't told about when he comes back the next day to do the repair. He proceeded to curse me out for making him come out for free and tried to make me feel bad talking about how he had to leave his kids at home just to fix my heater. He said he would put me on a no call list so that no one in town would help me out.

The next day I called another HVAC company and they mentioned to me that the previous technician intentionally left the blower motor unhooked so that the furnace wouldn't turn on. They were able to repair the furnace for $380 parts and labor included and they didn't charge me anything for reconnecting the blower motor. I'm just glad I found my go to HVAC person. Message me for the name of the other HVAC company if you need honest, good help!
