From I’m not sure how Dean and his partner are associated with Blue Ribbon Services, but they did some general maintenance work on my rent property and I DO NOT recommend their services. Without getting into their poor , non-professional invoicing practices, the work they did was nowhere near worth what they charged me. And it will need to be redone. It was shoddy and among other things, left an entire wall of mildew because the water pipe they “fixed” - wasn’t. I am happy to pay for good service. But I didn’t get that with these guys. Stay away.

I called Blue Ribbon late in the day on a Friday and they had my AC repaired by 11 am on Saturday! Oscar was the tech Blue Ribbon sent out. He was on time, professional, and had the AC repaired right away!

When my AC went out during the recent winter storm in Texas I call Ron Macy from Blue Ribbon Cooling and Heating DBA Mathison Heating & Air. He came out immediately and saw that I need a completely new unit. He sat with me and went over all the available options and explained each one depth. Ron made sure I was getting the proper system for my house with no hidden costs and explained to me financing was also available in case I needed it. There was no hidden cost. I was very impressed with how professional, efficient, and polite he was and him as manager took his time to make sure I was getting the best service. He gave me a timeframe on how quickly he can get it done and explain the job in details. I was was very impressed with how professional, efficient, and polite the technicians came out They work diligently and fast, the workmanship from the installers was amazing, installation in the upstiars closet it look so amazing I was Like "Wow". Thank you Ron for helping me choose GREAT product with excellent warranty and giving me the best service and coming after the job was completed to check to make sure everything looks good and to show me how to use the system. I am a more than qualified reviewer because I have TWO homes that have used this business. I hired this company to install a brand new ductless a/c and heating system at a smaller out-of-town vacation property and everything went seamlessly. Cosmetically and mechanically it has performed ideally (including during the freak freeze of 2021). Their bid wasn't the absolute cheapest but they came highly recommended by carpenters that I trust. I hired them and was not disappointed. THEN, a year later, it was time to overhaul the 20 yr old A/C system in my Austin communal 11 bedroom house that I share with 4 families and, once again, I had them submit a bid. Unfortunately my housemates out voted me and we went with a competing contractor that looked like a bargain. The work was not a bargain. It has problems all over the place. Long story short, Blue Ribbon is now coming into this larger Austin home and helping us troubleshoot and fix the mess their competitors left us with. Again, Blue Ribbon's work is flawless and everything was executed in the most professional and clear cut manner. I am relieved to have their help and wish I had hired them in the first place for my bigger house. It is good at least that they are now our maintenance company for both houses. At least we have an honest, qualified and professional company helping us maneuver the mess ups of the bad work others left behind. Do yourself a favor. Hire Blue Ribbon Cooling and Heating right out of the gate. You will thank yourself later. They'll get it right AND follow up with excellent customer service. I have two houses to prove it.

Ron was amazing. He let me know what was going on and fixed our AC problems. Love this company and the receptionist's were so friendly. I definitely recommend this company for your AC work. They were quick to help.

Not aonly did they show up on time but within 30 minutes of my initial request. Their tech, Mark came in and quickly fixed the problem, taught us some how to tricks to avoid this issue in the future, and the whole service was reasonably priced! So refreshing to have a honest, professional company attend to our needs.

Three person team, two had been here before for upkeep of the old unit. They were professional in attitude and highly skilled. They were considerate; the covered the way to the inside unit with tarps and took time to vacuum up debris inside the house upon leaving. The entire time was a few hours and I am now enjoying the comfort of a working AC. All around pleasant people who also chatted a minute or two about plants.

Blue Ribbon provided an estimate to repair or replace duct work to gain maximum efficiency for AC and Heat. Great Job!
